I'm thinking about getting Batman too. But I'm not sure if I need to pick up Robin as well.

This is the pose I've settled on for Bat's. I'm happy with the stock cape for this.

I was unsure as well but ended up getting Robin (sideshow coupons helped). For 66 it truly is Batman and Robin. And Robin really adds to this batman. The only issue I have with Robin is I haven't figured out how to pose him.

Yeah, I know, it's just trying to find the funds to get everything of interest that has or will come down the pike.

I wonder at what price these two will finally start selling out.

I know what you mean. So many things are in the pipeline. And each release might lead to further related releases, such as Alien andAliens.

Not to mention Batman Returns, MurphyCop, AoU, the DeLorean and on and on it goes....

IMO , Batman was only dark in '39......already when Robin came along in '40 he was less dark as a character so it started long before the sillyness of 50s/60s era. So the show didn't ruin Batman as Bats by that point was already less dark.

Why is ruined because it's less dark? I prefer the campy Batman to emo self pity batman.

Anyone ever get extra empty baggies with their HT's? I picked up West Batman on Wednesday, and everything seems to be included and complete, but there was an extra big square baggie that was taped closed along with a horizontal bag. Both empty, which made me freak out like something was missing.
