1/6 Hot Toys-MMS 218/219-Batman(1966)-Batman and Robin 1/6th Scale Figures

I finally got Batman and Robin last night. I haven't taken them out of the box yet, but a cursory inspection looks like there are no noticeable snags (at least on the front) of either suit and neither have crooked symbols. Can't wait to get them unboxed and put on display later today. It's funny, as a kid I would watch the show (because Batman), but I never really loved it. I didn't realize it was intentionally trying to be funny/campy so I thought it was just cheesy. As an adult, however, I have come to appreciate it for what it was and it has really grown on me. Tim Burton's 1989 Batman will always be my personal favorite, but there is no denying the importance of this incarnation of Batman.

Nice to hear about the pickup, man! Unlike the many incarnations of Superman, I too care about several iterations - this one, Keaton and Bale.

I watched all the reviews and each time after i cant bring myself to cancel. They just seem like a lot of fun n cheesey goodness brought to the collection. I can see myself having a blast with them and the back to the future line. I think willl be cool to throw both in the delorean and mess up the time line or correct it from the joker....To be Continued next bat year.

Crooked logo and a couple of snags on his pants. I guess it's cheaper and easier for Sideshow to just tell you to break it.

I havnt done this since i had to break my General Grievous 1:1 Bust so i could get it replaced. It should be a little easier this time, though

Finally opened Batman and I must say he's awesome! No issues at all really except some minor ones. Symbol seems straight and no snags even after futzing. Seems to be a small black dot on his left arm and on the right bat cuff is a little warped around the edges but not bad. The only real issue was when I was changing one of the hands. The peg snapped out of no where. So I can't use the one hand no more but just ordered a replacement from Toy Anxiety. Other than that issue he's fantastic! Robin will be coming soon. My Girlfriend got me it but I will have to wait a couple of months. She's flex paying him. Oh well the wait won't be too bad. Very happy with my purchase and for the price he was well worth it.

Too bad HT is DONE with this line..I'm convinced. They are up to their gills with Avengers and Star Wars next couple years not to mention another dozen IM3 armors plus this and that..but this line isn't part of it.
