I like both heads and that opinion isn't going to change. It's nice they made a change so people who buy both DX12 and this set don't have two exact copies,

My guess is that any differences seen are caused by combinations of production line variance (tooling, materials, assembly and packing), lighting/photography and display posing/futzing.

.....they wouldn't release stuff with such craptastic build quality, poor materials and incorrectly implemented electrical features - to varying degrees on a variety of their releases. We don't even need to get started on likenesses, of which the Nolan stuff has arguably been the best (go look at the Marvel stuff for really bad head sculpts).

Why exactly are you posting here at all? Is it just to troll? Do you need the attention for some reason?

Hot Toys goofed. You see the where the three black strips are where they plug into the three holes? I'm pretty sure they glued that down. That's where I thought they pulled apart, but it wouldn't budge.

So I tried the other side of the black strips (the ones that aren't circled) and it unplugged and replugged back in fairly easily easily . . . But there's glue residue like they glued that together too. I dunno.

It must be to keep you busy because clearly you can't find any other way to occupy your time than to reply. I feel like Michael Douglas in Fatal Attraction.

None of those posts were about the eyes/PERS system. One of those posts was totally and utterly dripping wet with sarcasm. You really need to learn not only how to read and follow a thread, but serious remedial comprehension classes are a good idea. Start with phonics.

But of course maybe you're just purposefully taking things out of context because, as always, you're trying to wind people up? Look, you're the only person on the forum I can say I actively dislike (as much as I can dislike someone on forum), so generally I make it a point not to respond to your posts, regardless of their content. You should probably do the same.

That's a good looking Batman pictured Rorywan, congrats. New eyeplate and neutral faceplate makes all the difference. Neck post looks a bit better proportioned too. Looks like the shoulder pads are improved as well, they look to hug the shoulder area better. I might have to pick up a new head/ neck combo when the prices come down after the U.S. release. I've got the QS version & I agree with your assessment, it looks like a nice 1/6 scale version of that one.
I thought I was out of the TDK game but might have to make one final dip into the wallet.

I doubt you'd find one, Tim. Since only a handful of peeps got this here, and none of em seem to be selling. Best chance will be going to eBay to buy em loose and assemble it.

I would just pick up the head and neutral faceplate man, there isn't a lot in the rest of it, unless you just fancy another complete figure.

Thanks man, you know what? I hadn't really even thought about the shoulder pads etc being better aligned, but your right they are. I had grown used to looking at my modded one, back when Maglor was here we melted, bent, cut, just about everything on the DX12. By the way Mags, if your reading this, you would approve of this set man.

I'd like to see a comparison between the new cowl and the Dx12 cowl with the same mouth and the same light, pers look up. So far, I've just seen comparison with the most crappy DX12 poses. I'd also like to see the new cowl next to a Dx12 cowl with painted eyelids.

Anyway, armory cowl is great, no doubt!

I Have this in front of me and it looks quite good in hand (Dx12 w/new mouths). It still doesn't photograph well though. It is a HUGE improvement though not as good as new eyes.
