Just spoke with sideshow and was told that the full set will be the last set they recieve. They have gotten confirmation from hot toys on the other sets bt not the full set yet. As to why some have gotten shipping notices already for the 8th. We kinda figured this out already bt was just letting yall know that's what I was told today so...

Yes - I think that Alfred's skin is way too dark! An amazing paint job - the eye work is just stunning - but the skin tone is oriental!

Has anyone else ordered from them and received any news on availability? My previous preorder with Modelzone (in the UK) was almost 2 years ago when they went bust! I'm hoping the same thing has not happened with onesixbruce.

Onesixthbruce Bruce are almost guaranteed not to respond to emails, not sure why but it's extremely hard to get a response from them. It's one of the reasons I've stopped buying from them. However, I don't think they're going to shut down or anything like that. I've got the set on order with them too, but it won't be out over here for a while yet. Probably a few months at least.

I would never preorder anything like this from anyone in the UK; it's a hugely expensive item and while OSB haven't gone bust you are relying on them staying in business for you to get your item. Much better to get it direct from HK from someone like Timcent88 who will charge a little more but give you a fantastic service - and you get it months ahead of pretty much everyone else. The cost will work out roughly the same as if you bought it from sideshow, and if anything did go wrong - which I don't think it would - you have Paypal protection.

Yeah, as much as I would like to support British companies, I too have gone down the route of ordering direct from Hong Kong. Timcent88 maybe charges a bit more, but its free shipping and the service I have received has been top class. He seems to sell out pretty quick on some new figs like the T-800 these days, others must be thinking along my lines I guess.

That kind of takes the fun out of it for me, and even at its cheapest this set is a lot of money, when I know I'm going to be spending a lot anyway it doesn't take much for me to just up it a little.
