I just bought a DX12 belt for my Armory Batman off of a HK seller on eBay. It's slated for delivery sometime between early December and early January. He has a 99.9 percent feedback, but should I be worried? Is that unusual? Do I have any protections if things were to sour?

Talk about a slow boat from China, er, Hong Kong.

^ With that kind of feeback I wouldn't worry too much. I have bought lots of spare parts from a couple different Hong Kong sellers with no problem. They advertise long shipping waits to give themselves leeway I think because I usually have received my stuff in 2 weeks or less. I do only buy stuff from overseas sellers with lots of sales and excellent feedback though.

Nice pics as always. I really like this one. I can't ever get the hands in the pockets pose to look as natural as this. You nailed it though.

This has been my experience as well. I just made two eBay purchases from HK sellers and they both had long shipping estimates, but both arrived in a week. Just stick to sellers with good feedback, as has been said.

i received this set today and all i can say is WOW. I spent hours trying to put everything in place even though it became a bit frustrating. The Bruce Wayne suit isn't as bad as some are making it out to be. As for Alfred looking "dead", I think in hand most people will see how alive he actually looks.

Very beautiful shots of the Bats para, loving it. :)
got a good deal on the armory aswell and now i'm debating if i should get alfred and the new cowl aswell. but as for now, some pics of my armory and bale:

Nice shots as always TM :clap. Why couldn't HT make the suit nice, thin & fitted like yours instead of that frump-a-delic thing that they gave us :ohbfrank:

This is the first time I'm hearing the 180 day thing that Rambler mentioned, but the slow boat from HK typically can take that long. The guys out there that don't use EMS and opt for the cheapest method can typically take 3-7 weeks to get to the states

I actually think its 180 days now. You should be just fine.

Thank you kindly, gents. :duff

I forgot about Demon Bats, haha. I don't have him displayed though, was thinking of selling him if I can, but I heard it is very difficult.

She looks great, the bug-eyes myth is true, she has huge eyes :lol

You famous or something? I tried inboxing you, but it said it was full

This set finally arrived today. It's pretty awesome, here are some thoughts:

-The build-a-belt is a really cool concept, but these pieces look really fragile, so I'm not going to bother trying. Nice try Hot Toys, but it needs a bit more user testing...

-I wish the folded Batarangs were actually folded Batarangs that can be unfolded!

-The nun-chucks and darts are really cool though!

-Having all the accessories like this is a dream come true for me. Makes me really wish they'd do an equivalent for DX09. That'd give new people a chance to get the now-expensive Keaton Batman, as well as present a great opportunity to show off all those neat accessories that figure came with. Most of those were never used in the movie, so nobody really uses or poses with them. So they never get seen - but they become infinitely more interesting when they're in that vault of his!

Also, that'd give us a chance to maybe get a Keaton Wayne or even a Gough Alfred! Odds are low on that happening - but then again, I'd have said Hot Toys would never release a Caine Alfred, and look at what we have now!

-Of course, installing the weapons in the armory is really frustrating. They all come in foam trays - those should have been swappable with the trays in the actual armory, for instant installation. But the real frustrating part is setting up the hooks with the sticky-guns. It's nearly impossible to get them all aligned so everything is snug and placed correctly. Those hooks really should have been part of the frame to begin with, rather than being moveable.

-Packaging is pretty lame. One of the neat things about Hot Toys has been the packaging, both in terms of art design and functionality. Functionality here is pretty minimal (the outer cardboard is so thin!), art design is pretty much non-existent.

-This thing is just a bit too big to fit my shelves, so I'm not sure where to put it. It's on top of my bookshelf right now, which is cool when the lights are on, but it makes seeing the accessories/weapons on the lower trays impossible.

-Speaking of the lights, I love the remote. Makes me wish the doors had battery-powered, remote control functionality as well. How cool would it be to press a button to both open the doors and turn on the lights, inviting you to step over and take a closer look?

-The empty cowl has a shiny rub right on the forehead, I'll probably try and get a replacement for it.

-Wayne and Alfred look great. Time to repurpose my custom figures...
