That's me.

Yeah I called him on his BS and broke it down as if it was a children's special. Absurd.

I got this set with Alfred\Bruce\ Batman\Armory for $380 because there were slight damage and missing a small hook for $380. I thought that was ok, but $200 for the whole set?!?? dannnnggggggg!!!!

I got my Armory with Alfred new for $300 shipped and I thought that was a great deal, $200 isnt happening unless the seller is desperate.

Someone just tried to convince me that they can get "the whole set" for "just over $200."

I broke down the rough after market prices for the "whole set" which one would reasonably believe he meant The Alfred/Bruce/Armory/DX12 release, and then broke down each of the configurations for that. Hell you can't even get the Batman figure for "just over $200."

Wow folks.

I wouldn't have bothered with the math, just said go buy it then.

****, I might've bought it for that price if the Canadian dollar weren't garbage.

I literally did the exact same thing today, lol. Jaxon's capes (got a short one for my QS001, too) arrived today and I snapped a few quick pics that I'll be posting soon.

Agreed. I got a NIB Armory w/Alfred and Bruce for under $500 shipped and I thought (and still think) that's a great deal.

Some friendly comparison pics as requested

Please note that I accidentally had the cape reversed in the pic below, but you get the idea of the clip

I didn't really felt the need or urge to upgrade since I already had lforigno's cape but I was ordering the batman returns and bvs from jaxon so thought what the hell.

My own thoughts are jaxon's cape is really well done, even tho I went for the short version it actually is a fair bit heavier than the ryon cape and drapes better.

It's also easier to insert due to clips being included compared to lforigno's where you have to push it in with a stick shaped thing lying in your house.

Material wise jaxon's feels more silky and lforigno's feels more like a clothe. Pleating effect is better on jaxon's.

Lforigno's cape dwarfs jaxon in comparison. But then again I went for short battle version, so the long version might be a better apple to apples comparison. If I remember correctly the long version is the same price as the short.

Each to their own I guess, considering jaxon is close to three times the price of lforigno, it's really up to what you want and your budget. Lforigno's cape are great value and does a great job.

Hope that helps.

LOL The guy keeps saying the Batman figure is "The Bat Suit" not a figure or essentially the DX12 figure. He said "A suit isn't a figure."

Sigh... some people in this hobby as just morons.

The guy is trying to buy me armory with the Batman figure for $140 trying to convince me I'm the one being unreasonable. What a complete idiot.

"But it's a toy for kids! $140 is already too expensive, but I'm willing to compromise!"

I'm guessing this is someone who's really new to this hobby haha.

I believe he is. I tried to politely explain it then he got hateful and it progressed. He said I didn't know what I was talking about... collecting Hoy Toys for 6 years and 78 figures doesn't amount to much "knowledge" I suppose.
