Not going to talk about MK's sculpt cause it doesn't even worth to discuss
but Batman man...BLOODY BATMAN you 've gotten screw it up? I mean come on the prototype was alright, why the hell it became bloody Val' Kilmer
The eyes are too close and the mouth plate...OMFG they are bloody awful, shame on you HT, now I gonna consider ordering the Batfleck or not

I honestly don't get the disappointment in the Batman figure, I think he looks outstanding in most shots.

The Wayne sculpt is a let down, I agree, but luckily I was never interested in him anyway. Is the disappointment in him flowing over to the Batman figure?

Well, the close mouth looks pretty good on the left pic, but the other two faceplates look pretty bad. I'm not sure it's worth getting if only one faceplate looks good though. Maybe it'll flop and the price will go down, because right now, I see no reason to get it since I have the 89 version.

I don't get the issues people are having with the batman suit? Looks fine.

Default mouth looks fine too. Who even uses the alternates honestly though.

I think Batman looks fine too. I blame the way some are positioning the eyes in some shots on it looking off. Looks ace in most. In person should be even better.

He really does bear a resemblance to Kilmer.

honestly, it's the bright blue eyes that are standing out for me, it could very well just be the lighting and likely not as noticeable on display, but why he has such piercing blue eyes, I do not know...
That's also what's making everything else look more like Kilmer than Keaton to me

I can get over the soft vinyl suit as I likely just wouldn't pose him in any way that makes the suit look off, was expecting a better cape but I can deal with that too

Going to have to see more bloggers pics to form a solid opinion on it, but from what I've seen here, it IS pretty disappointing. It does look like Hot Toys did not give this figure the attention it deserves, despite having so much time to do so.

And think of it this way, if this figure flops because they dropped the ball, they're going to assume the rest of the BR line isn't worth pursuing, when in reality they should have LEAD this line with the VILLAINS. and rounded it off with Batman.

Penguin or Catwoman should have definitely come first (with hopefully more attention and care given to them)
