Man, Wayne kills that display.

Weird how someone else could say he ''kills'' it and mean the exact opposite to what you mean. I would mean what you mean if I were to use that word.

Another example - ''Sick!!'' - for some reason that has come to be a word of praise. I have no idea why.

I've seen this before. Try bending the leg up if there is no sound that means the leg is detached from the thigh socket.

I know it sounds strange, but you have to touch around the leg thigh joint, if it feels loose then you have to try and push it into the leg socket until you hear the pop sound.

There's nothing wrong with the leg, you just have to push the leg joint into the knee socket

Oh man, you rock!! Indeed it did make a click sound and now my Bats stands! However, its not 100% balanced - its still ever so teeny weeny longer. But its 99.9% better! Thanks so much, man!

“first, please read the user guides very carefully before posing the figures.

second, the structure of the batman is complicated. Please be very very careful when posing the figure especially for the elbows. the gauntlet spikes are delicate too.

hot toys won't offer any exchange and maintenance service for artificial damage."

Yeah apparently. I don't see why that came about though. Just one of those quirks of the language.

Hot Toys says that the structure of Batman is complicated? A true type with a rubber suit over it?

Why doesn't Hot Toys just put a notice on their figures saying to never handle them and just leave them in the box while they're at it too? That's what they should have done on their Matrix John Commando.

That looks great, I love the symbol on the wall, and the blu-ray behind Wayne...though Wayne...some pics make him look worse, some make it acceptable...

Here is my initial set up.
HT Bruce in background , 3rd party Bruce in foreground.
Liking this set better than I did yesterday .
The Bat is still a little plainer than the first version, but it's ok.



And the two Bats...

Display looks great! Really does show the differences...for better or worse. Some stuff like the cowl, and cape look off or inferior to me, but the rest of the body, like the armored look, have grown on me with pics like this.

Not me baby, I'm excited. Can't wait to open this up and display them with the Batmobile and others. Dunno if this is someone's on here, but I thought this was a classy display. It's just missing Mime Joker (and Catwoman and Penguin of course).







I'm trying to figure out what will look displayed best since I have all the Hot Toys Burton/Keaton stuff. I think I'm going to pair Returns Batman with the Mime Joker.

It does indeed look classy, the lighting helps. I'm content getting this later, when it goes on sale or something like VGM Bats, but I can see why everyone's upset since they had to wait so long. You expect something truly great...

I'm with you in that I've been thinking about how I'm going to display them since pre-orders were available back in May!!

I'm also thinking about getting another Batman Returns DX style stand just for Bruce Wayne since I think he would look much better and more level next to the Batman instead of the generic BW stand that comes with the set.. It's only $30 on ebay right now

Well, most paid an NRD, and the $100 in RP are t refundable, so it's one thing to not want it now, but I'm not throwing money away.

Maybe he grows on me.

I was not happy with the cape, then some pics here helped.
I had not considered, stupidly (and i've had the Keaton Bats since day 1) using the cowl plug to concertina the cape. Once I played around with that, the cape was sitting exactly as I wanted it to.
I copied the idea shown earlier of taking a photo of the two Bats, two Jokers and Bruce against the Batmobile. My photo does not compare with the quality of the one shown earlier, but I like to have it in my phone.
So, I guess Im having fun with this set.

I love this set, everytime I look at Batman I can't stop thinking this is the same costume seen in Batman returns for sega and super nintendo versions of the game and that we never saw a kenner batman returns figure...
