For some reason I can't do spoiler tags, so I'll keep this as spoiler free as possible.

But a quick question, but what was the purpose of Kylo hitting his stomach in the final fight?

Anakin, Luke, Ben....Skywalker's have always been whiny crybabies since the beginning, he's just staying par for the course. Personally, I love that he's kind of an entitlement brat with nobody to put him in check...yet. He sure be more mature in the next one.

He was either trying to numb the wound so he could have more mobility, or was forcing more pain for dark side fuel.

One of those three had Supreme Leader Snoke corrupting him as a small boy. The other two have no excuse.

Not sure but i liked it. Think it was just an anger thing, He was hurt and was hyping himself up IMO. It's little things like that i loved about him.

I see the basic fanboys in here trying to downplay Kylo. Let me say that I am here to eat crow. I'm not an Adam Driver fan at all. But he did a good job. Kylo was a well written character. He is a developing Sith who had really cool aspects. He's the best villian Disney has given in a while.

Not only will I buy this figure, but I'll be happy to support the franchise moving forward. The guys who make critical comments about Kylo are merely the same guys who always try to stir the pot on these forums. They are cynical and well rehearsed in trying to get a rise out of everyone. They realize being oppositional is one way of having environmental control. Don't feed the trolls

I actually loved Driver in the role, and loved the character. Just thought it was funny how defensive the man-crushers were getting if someone brought up his emotional issues. I'll leave it at that so as not to rain on anybody's parade anymore, if I have. I actually have tremendous respect for Adam Driver and his efforts to reach fellow military personnel with his theater program. He's a real life badass.

To this figure - I just can't bring myself to buy it without an unmasked head and, preferably, a melty Vader mask. I'll wait it out for the 2.0.

Here, let me give you a paraphrased example -
"I've paid four times to see this movie so I feel entitled to watch an illegal camrip of it right now. lol"

You can rationalize it however you want.

That's not how I rationalize it though. I rationalize it because I have the digital copy of the movie already bought and paid for through Target :)

I'm expecting a "First Order Trooper Spending The Holidays in Tahiti" figure from Hot Toys before a face sculpt Kylo Ren.

I wouldn't be surprised if they went the DX route with another masked version, chair and Vader mask w/ pedestal, and an unmasked (undamaged) head. Plus a Battle Damaged figure, too.

Word is that HT will indeed do an unmasked Kylo.

The figure prototype has balance issues . . so far the tremendous weight of his gigantic beak causes him to topple forward.

Howard is experimenting with a 3D-printed head with a hollow nose . . . should fix the problem.

Someone tell them to just use whatever method they used on the Han Solo.

He looked all sad and teary eyed after the scar too.

He's full of conflict, even when he was interrogating Rey he looked very emotional. The dude is on the edge of the light and dark side, cut him some slack. It's like straight out of a green day song.

I think Ben is dealing with some heavy daddy issues. He even says to Rey "oh, you look to Han Solo as a father figure, well trust me, he isn't very good". Dude is looking for a papa and just needs a hug. If only Han had hugged his boy instead of grasping his Lightsaber.

More like Cry-Lo Ren.

Just add Darth to it and it's golden.

If HT does eventually do a Adam Driver sculpt, it will be interesting to see what expression they choose... He was all over the place emotionally and his expressions were spot on, and it was a very well acted role.

Hopefully its this expression.
