What do you guys think our chances of another version of this with an unmasked sculpt being made are?
And what other sites have this for sale still beside SSC? Everywhere I know to look (BBTS and Alter Ego), PO is sold out.

My guess is high....it may be battle damaged sculpt

Or maybe the fact that this movie took place over the span of like a day means they were setting the groundwork for a future relationship. Claiming racism because they didn't have the black male lead kiss the white female lead after just meeting...is silly.

:exactly: It was blatantly obvious that they are setting things up for Rey and Finn to end up together, or kiss then find out they are brother and sister, I'm still not sure which :lol

Chances are 100% (they are already making more of this one, so it's making them money) and will probably come with a burnt up Vader mask as an exclusive.

It hasn't even fully gone on sale yet. So they aren't really "making more". They just had a small number available early to be sold directly from Secret Base like they did with the first order trooper.

Did a little house cleaning....let's stick to talking about the figure here....and with all of these great pics hitting from para, stealth, inked and others, there is plenty to talk about...this figure is looking like an instant classic...extremely well-rendered and a great subject for the camera....can't wat to take some shots myself!

In the meantime, let's stay on topic and keep the other "spirited" discussion in the sandbox....thanks!

Personally I try to avoid flame wars as well, but phrases like "Rey is good for one thing: the Spank Bank" go too far. Whether you liked the character or not, that phrase is downright disgusting. I don't need the mental image of a guy wanking it in front of a 20-something actress stuck in my head.... Aaaand now it's stuck... Have some decency at least is all I'm saying. There's a difference between adding a curse word once in a while to make your posts less "robotic" and posting offensive and racist comments.

I'm glad you're calling out all the ignorance. It's sad that sexism and racism are still so common in fanboy culture.

Products of insecurity, lack of maturity and social graces, insularity -- and where the Web is concerned, a sense of anonymity.

At any rate, I'll respect the Mods' suggestion to keep the thread on topic and we can drop this subject for now; but I strongly encourage anyone to speak out against any blatant displays of idiocy or at least immediately report it to moderators.

I'm not easily offended, for the record. It's just that smug cowardice and stupidity should always be answered lest silence be mistaken for acceptance.

Paramore et al...I love all the shots of this figure coming out, but what are your thoughts on the scale of the helmet? It's been a nagging concern of mine that it's in fact underscaled. How does it look to you in-hand?

Looks fine to me, but can seem off from some angles due to the fact that there isn't a head inside so the neck can be seen going straight up inside it rather than tapering into a jawline toward the front of the mask

That might be it. There are few things that set off my collector OCD harder than "Iron Man Syndrome" -- when I can't buy the illusion of someone in a suit.

You know what would have pushed me over the edge into "must have" territory with this figure? If it had just included the melted Darth Vader helmet.

Never used the video function on my D-SLR before so thought I'd give a quick Kylo video a go. Watch in HD.

That's why I always display my iron men up higher than other figures with their heads looking down, totally hides the neck issue. It may bug me though with kylo just because we saw the neck piece of the under mask in the movie which goes along his jaw line so that part of the figure might not be movie accurate. It isn't enough to make me not buy this guy though.

Sometimes using big words to show a level of education makes you look stupid!! Have Great Day!!!:gah:

The more I see this figure the more I realize how glad I am I pr- ordered
Its a wonderful case of simplicity...mixed with a good character...winner!!!!

I remember thinking how simple it was when I first saw it...and saying "Thats it??"

But really it doesn't need anything else.. (except a burnt Vader head, but might be fun to make one.)

I think the fabric is done perfectly and his pose ability really captures scenes from the film perfectly...
