Me too. He would have dialog written by a good writer in a movie being directed by a good director.

I guess if you prefer boring whiny actors :dunno

Perhaps that's how he was told to portray the character? :dunno

After all, Anakin is supposed to be a "whiny" character. Aside from being a slave, he's essentially been coddled from childhood; first by his mother who treated him as if he were a prodigy, then lauded by the Jedi who prophesied him as being "The Chosen One", so it's only natural that he develop a sense of "entitlement" to many things and then when something didn't go his way, whine about it.

Obi-Wan even came to his defense when he was being persecuted by the council, stating, "Isn't he supposed to be The Chosen One?"

I got mine over the weekend and it really surprised me on how good the quality is. He's got good range of motion in his arms and legs. All the layers of clothing do get in the way when posing but it doesn't take away from the figure. My only problem is getting that screw off the arm that lights up. Feel like stripping and don't want to get any worse. But for my pose....guess it doesn't need it. Or until I can figure out a way to remove it.

Excellent pictures!

Flanking him with a couple of Stormtroopers really helps bring out the figure even more so.

Fantastic figure on hand!

Your display is glorious, I love the less is more mentality! At the risk of going OT, what lights are you using?

Also, my Kylo arrived last week and he's in my display now. It's getting a little packed though, I'll post a pic later! The figure, however, is amazing.

Well I got mine yesterday and although a great figure his batteries were dead right outta the box which stinks, also his robes are pretty wrinkled and I'm not sure how to smooth them out since he has that sort of rubbery material that I would NOT want to iron.

I think those batteries are easy to get right? But that's still a pain

Good thing those are the type of batteries you can find at a retailer

Looking at the in hand pics this is a one of a kind look that stands out as a collectible piece from HT. Damn all it needs is the Driver sculpt to put it over the top :lecture

If only HT waited just a little bit longer to release him after the movie released so they could get the Driver head in there :gah:

Even if the mask is different ( which it might be ) in Ep VIII or the outfit might change this is still a piece to own.

But I'm going to slowly resist for now because I know we see a unmasked version coming, perhaps a DX version with a more easily removable hood and scarf or detachable robing with a BD HS as well as a driver sculpt. I know it's coming :panic:

I dont really love how you have to mess with this tiny zipper every time you want to turn his saber on and off. Also, I wish this thing were brighter. I have a cathode one for my Vader and it blows this this led saber away. Other than that, despite his very simple design, he really looks awesome.

Anyone know of a way to deal with the wrinkled tunic?
