Grievous really doesnt fit in that pic does he lol - in the whole shelf view he fits a little better cause Maulgus, Ventress and Sidous are hanging out too giving a little more color

Yeah, he is sort of anomalous being that he's not a practitioner of the Dark Side like the others (in addition to him being white), but he is still considered a "villain" so to speak.

I wonder if the collectors will jump more into purchasing mr Ren when the film releases next month.

IMO it's so worth it with this figure. Two months now, I've had him in my collection and he is still a piece that impresses me just standing on my shelf

Love what you did with the hood!! Looks great.
When you cut the corners of the hood from the body, do you have a trouble keeping the corners of the hood down? I was thinking of cutting the corners but too scared to mess with them. LOL

Nope, lift the corners barely a thread holding it place, snip, xacto and you're good to go

Forgot that Dooku looks alright for a cheap Hasbro figure, and the sideshow Sidious has a terrible floppy body.

Sorry but that is where I draw the line, the weight of the hood has me worried if it detaches from the scarf it might not set right

Finally got this figure, but I haven't really been paying attention to this thread. Would someone mind me telling me if there are any obvious QC issues to watch out for, and any mods that are considered essential?

Funny story - I don't exactly hide my collecting from my wife, but I don't particularly advertise it either. Kylo Ren got delivered this morning when she was out and I opened him in the living room, examined him for a while then stuck him back in the box and took it to my office. Ten minutes later she came home, sniffed and said 'you've bought a new figure, haven't you?'. She smelt the plastic. That's how distinctive the smell of new figures is.

Take your time. Patience works well with this treatment. Make sure the more you decide to do with the technique make sure to give it ample drying time. That is what is key to the results. I did more as I noted and it took longer, an extra day or so too fully dry, but the results where IMO outstanding
