May not make a lot of sense, but it is how the actual mask in the movie was designed.

Really? Hmm... Never would have thought, that. Would have figured there was a visor in there on the actual helmet used in the film.

I just got this figure the other day. Great figure overall, but, and I'm sure this has already been discussed, why in the hell is there not an actual visor on his mask to cover the eyes? It's just open with black material inside to give the illusion of it. I thought for sure it must have been a defect in my figure, but after watching a couple reviews it looks like it was an intentional design. Not a huge deal overall as no one would ever really notice it, but it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

You'd indeed think there would be a visor of some sort, but as mentioned, it's true that the actual mask/helmet in the film did have a mesh screen in the eyes. So the figure reflects that.

Ugh. I keep debating on whether to get this guy or not. Not having the Adam Driver sculpt really puts the brakes on for me.

They're not supposed to be cracked. Some people like the way it looks though.
