How do you think this compares to the prime1 statue?
I thought that areas under the eyes should be straight? What are those wrinkles? I don't see them on the real cowl...
In the film the angle likely changes with the cowl used, movement, camera angles etc. -- third film still shows more of an angle. At any rate, nothing I'm worried about.I thought that areas under the eyes should be straight? What are those wrinkles? I don't see them on the real cowl...
Or a DX09…Congrats, you have now forced everyone to buy custom sculpts. J/k
Hard to say if the final product will hold the fantastic proto sculpt but, for the moment, the P1 is the best sculpt to date IMO…but not the same price range. How do you think this compares to the prime1 statue?
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/b...ae/Bola.png/revision/latest?cb=20130314141725With the Cathedral display, they really should add the extra scene specific attachments- the bolas launcher, and the larger unfolding grapnel.
Is it all the same "wonderfull toys" gadgetry included?
Apparently Still missing the bolo attachment, the larger expanding grapnel ...
Also with the computer, all it needs now is for them to finally make the 89 Vault-Armory.
@Asta or any of the other powers that be please merge this thread with the other we have for this figure ( Hot Toys Batman (1989) - 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure (Deluxe Version) and Standard Version ) ?
Wait, is this evidence that you own the HT 89 Batmobile? The same guy who called it “HT’s cheap looking black plastic stubby inaccurate 89 Batmobile” a few days ago?
Thank you!...and done.
They certainly appear to be incorrect or a misinterpretation of how the suit reflects light which HT have recreated almost as bags under his eyes. What are those weird curves under the eyes?
This is true. Which is why I’m glad that because this thing is coming out I can run to eBay and get one that’s marked down. Gotta love reissues. No more 800 dollar Keaton bats or settling for the neca one for me.Really hope HT can "fix" that in the next 2 years.
That's what's so maddening about these long waits -- lots of time to address things, but rarely ever done anymore.
Owned..Wait, is this evidence that you own the HT 89 Batmobile? The same guy who called it “HT’s cheap looking black plastic stubby inaccurate 89 Batmobile” a few days ago?
Yikes! Where to & when did you ship it - Australia at the height of the pandemic? For comparison, Joost is forecasting $260 to the US for his 89 Batmobile next year. Something tells me you still made a killing, but man that seems high.Owned..
Then sold…
And shipped
Shipping came out to be around $250ish give it or take an ish or two lol
