I thought that areas under the eyes should be straight? What are those wrinkles? I don't see them on the real cowl...

In the film the angle likely changes with the cowl used, movement, camera angles etc. -- third film still shows more of an angle. At any rate, nothing I'm worried about.

How do you think this compares to the prime1 statue?
Hard to say if the final product will hold the fantastic proto sculpt but, for the moment, the P1 is the best sculpt to date IMO…but not the same price range.
The HT reissue seems a stunt double next to.

Keaton Batman was my childhood. Always wanted to get him. But think he is limited to mostly museum poses…. Then.. nvm

Is it all the same "wonderfull toys" gadgetry included?

Apparently Still missing the bolo attachment, the larger expanding grapnel ...

https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/b...ae/Bola.png/revision/latest?cb=20130314141725With the Cathedral display, they really should add the extra scene specific attachments- the bolas launcher, and the larger unfolding grapnel.

Not sure how you'd display Joker, or Vale there, still invoking some scene specific options should be available.

Also if they ever do the 89 Vault-Armory, makes for more gadgets to store in there.
Also with the computer, all it needs now is for them to finally make the 89 Vault-Armory.

What are those weird curves under the eyes?
They certainly appear to be incorrect or a misinterpretation of how the suit reflects light which HT have recreated almost as bags under his eyes.

Some images from the 89 cowl that was restored in 2019 for Sandiego Comic Con- video link

Totally flat
But when painted up, it catches light in a way that could fool you to believe there’s is a valley in the sculpt

It’s somewhat visible in this scene

But I think you’ll be hard pressed to find any evidence to back up HT’s decision.
That dip just shouldn’t be there.

Really hope HT can "fix" that in the next 2 years.

That's what's so maddening about these long waits -- lots of time to address things, but rarely ever done anymore.
This is true. Which is why I’m glad that because this thing is coming out I can run to eBay and get one that’s marked down. Gotta love reissues. No more 800 dollar Keaton bats or settling for the neca one for me.

Owned..

Then sold…

And shipped :horror

Shipping came out to be around $250ish give it or take an ish or two lol
Yikes! Where to & when did you ship it - Australia at the height of the pandemic? :lol For comparison, Joost is forecasting $260 to the US for his 89 Batmobile next year. Something tells me you still made a killing, but man that seems high.

As a former owner, what's your take on the HT design? It still looks too flat to me in the middle. I think it should dip down more and have a more curvaceous profile - a bit more like a roller coaster. I just can't decide whether it's worth an additional $1k to have that accuracy and a nice paint job.
