You should just buy one of the heads off ebay when it gets parted out.

I made the incredibly dumb mistake of buying my JC from a convention where of course you don't get receipts. I'll never buy anything expensive from a con again. I guess I'll have to attempt fixing mine myself.

I know what you mean but I'd hate to think that you'd make it worse. In the place where my scratch is it is covered by the light often so you can get it into a position on my shelf where it doesn't look too bad. It's just when i turn it i can see the damage and on a £100 model it really takes the edge of it. I'm trying Hot Toys customer service and I'm going to see what comes out of that. If not another head off ebay when I get the money will be the only way i suppose.

Thanks for the links. I appreciate it, but I just very recently hit a financial problem. Hopefully just a temporary set back.

Well, I actually do have some experience with sculpting and painting (mostly 1/12 scale though) and I figured if worse comes to worse, a slightly off skin tone on the nose won't look as visible as a white mark.

....but that's another good reason for why getting this one through sideshow is a better bet for me....just in case there is an issue, I know it'll be taken care of...

Got a combined shipping notice this morning. So John and Cobra Trooper should be on their way to me soon.

Is it just me or has it been a killer month ?

In the last month I'vehad Luke & Han in Stormtrooper Gear, Crimson Cobra Commander, Iron Man Mk 1, Admiral Piett, Goemon and the Narrow and Slim Truetypes. Now next week Cobra Trooper and John Connor.

I'm hoping I get a bit of a reprieve with the only things due in Septemeber for me are Stormshadow, which given no notice has been sent I suspect it will be pushed back, and the other two Goemon figures which I also think will be pushed back.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this, or should I say hold the trigger on this, as I still have it on order with SS. But it is do to arrive here in the next week or so and I really want it, it's just that I've spent soo much now. I bought SS Snakes, Cobra Commander, Predator 1 and now I have the HT mark 1 coming to me next week. And I'm not even including the $700 I dropped on the SS Alien 3 maquette, which I still owe $400 on.... That's a lot of ^^^^ in one or two months!!


Well, I think I might cancel if I know I can get it for under $200 around Cristmas time

Nah - not a shipping notice. Just notice that they are combining two orders so they cancel one and add it to the other. But it does mean it will ship very soon.

and it makes me even more nervous, cause i've bought mine through an ebay-seller.
but i have to wait just some few days. it have been sent at sept 1., so it should arrive me soon. hope with a normal nose and with no other issues...

Just took a sneak peak inside of my connor. The paint app is definitely next level man. On par, if not better than the godfather! The connor sculpt even has the 'dirt' look on its cheek and forehead!

The paint app put the mark 1 tony's and the spirits paint app to shame!

Ok, I just assembled all the accesories that came with connor, except for the grappling gun. Where should I attach it? Or should I just leave it on the box?

You know, if the rubber mask just looked more realistic, I would swear that a real life pro wrestler was coming at me with a mini gun strapped to one arm. I would invite him to come back to my underground hideout to meet C.O. in the fight against the machines.

But the rubber skin gave it away as a robot, so it must be a T-600, and not a human.

Shucks. What will Skynet (McG) think of next?

there doesn't seem to be any particular way. You loop the strip through his harness just above the buckle and below the bit that loops around.
