I'm still scratching my head on the whole double gun combo thing it has going on? But yeah, it should be real interesting to see what it can do.

The top barrel is the rifle rounds and the underneath barrel is an underslung shotgun like Billy's in Predator....I think.

Yep. When dealing with unrelenting endo's, it's best to be packing stopping power.

I wonder will they be going the SCC route and having bullets that can kill endos? I'd prefer if they didn't - its one of the few things I don't like about that show - sort of takes away the threat of Terminators if projectile weapons can do the job.

Are people going to wait to see if the new Terminator movie will be a hit before buying it?

Number of factors.

A) Some people care how they feel about the movie before spending the money.

B) Some people are waiting to see if there's an SSC Ex. announced a week later like with the Endo.

C) Some people probably just don't fit this into their budgets in the current economy.

D) Some people aren't impressed with it.

Well, that's it too, lotta folks are going elsewhere. I've got Predator on order at Toys2 to get it quickest, but in current economy and all, I'm going back on my notion of getting 2 of them so now i'm figuring do I really care about the clean helmet from SSC or just get it quicker with Toys2.

With Connor, I like it, but no rush so I'll save a little going SSC.

Yeah well I have 2 preorders and they are absolute must haves, everything else has been cancelled. T2 PF and Godfather Brando, thats it. I have way too many factors to not continue much further into this hobby.

Well in the trailer they dont have ray-guns, Conner has that standard M4 (or whatever) and is seen firing a few shots into that endo skull under the chopper which has always worried me...but then if you listen it sounds like they're not doing much damage and are practially bouncing off?

Why would he be sold out? It only went online for pre-order a couple days ago!! Besides this is a human figure, nothing special there. Yes, Dutch was human and sold fast but then that's ARNIE and Predator has stood the test of time and we've all loved him in that film for 22 yrs...Bale as Conner has longevity to prove yet plus not everyone is a Bale-head fanboy that squeals at the mere mention of him (not saying you are).

Apart from the HT Mk II IM exclusive as an exception Ive yet to see SSC offer a cool (worth cancelling the regular over) exclusive of a HT product

The melted cheese exclusive base they offered with the endo needs to be re-thought, otherwise they will end up with product sat on the shelves imo (as a lot would take reg over excl on that base)

Having not seen the film (and Im guessing neither have SSC) Im guessing thats why they struggle to produce an uber cool exclusive.

That and possibly licensing restrictions and dictated elements of the franchise interfering

But if I was SSC Id think long and hard for the need to produce an exclusive if it cant be as cool as the IM bust, as melted cheese bases arent cutting it, HT products are extremely popular and dont need poorly thought out exclusives to sell them

Hot Toys decides the exclusive content not SSC but I agree with you. This exclusive stinks. I thought the exclusive chestburster (cleaner wolf) and BD mask (BD Predator 2) were pretty good exclusives (they also cost the same as the regular version). An exclusive stand for an extra $10 is just not cutting it. Doesn't help that the stand looks like crap.

Ya, I believe the Hot Toys Ex. are also Ex. for their main overseas distributor, it's an HT decision, not Sideshow, they just arrange with Sideshow for sale.

For the most part that is true. We are seeing "true" Sideshow Hot Toys exclusives lately though. The non-BD mask for the Pred 1, extra hat for the Godfather, and the extra stand for the T-600 are apparently not available in Hong Kong.

With that statement I think I may have contradicted myself and Sideshow may have a hand in deciding exclusives....who knows?

And yeah.....the headset exclusive is pretty lame. The exclusive base is even worse. So many possibilities and they come out with these...（understandable though I guess....wouldn't want to piss off the majority of collectors who wouldn't be able to get the exclusive.)
