That pic looks 100% like Bale .............. angles and lighting are everything to "photographing" a sculpts likeness. Its all about how it looks in hand, this one is very nice.
I also haven't heard anything about Bale backing out of the next 2 Terminator films either.
There is an art to it, especially because most collectibles are based off of films and such where creative lighting is used so we need to see the collectible under similar conditions to have it click in our minds, yeah that looks like such and such. As nicely lit as the John Connor figure is in the photos, it is poorly lit to show off what I feel is a great Bale portrait. The best likeness shots are very close up and start to take the light and shadow aspects out of the equation.
I'm excited for this figure.

Was it Kojun that sculpted Connor? Can't remember.
where can I find this rifle(HK416) for Hot toys John conner?
Only thing that's off is the nose...
And the eyes, and the eyebrows, and the headshape
Coming from the guy that labels the Takara Batman as the most accurate outta the bunch.
he's right though. the nose and the eyes are not entirely accurate. it's closer to bale than to hawke, but it's still not perfect. hope they got it corrected before i receive mine.

Actually, I think it's the best one, I never said anything about accurate
