Man, they really screwed up the headsculpt on this one didnt they?

Yes, they did, the proto was weird, this is just as weird maybe a little more so.
Looks nothing like Cap.

Expression looks pretty sweet for action poses. Will look awesome posed against WS.

Even a museum pose looks like it will be cool when you see it from normal viewing distance and lighting on a shelf and not blown up 15x.

Dang, I'm torn.
I love my modded TFA but I pulled the trigger on this cause I love that he has mass.
I felt the TFA was a little on the skinny side.
The proto looked great, but now he seems a little on the bulky side.
most of the pics of the pants also look like its too tight.
So the bulky top with skinny legs makes the proportions look weird.
The proto pics also seemed like the gloves/boots has a nice weathering and lighter brown shading.
Not so much on these newer pics, they look close to TFA.

Not making my decision til I get this in hand, but I may end up selling this and keep my TFA.

Not so sure anymore if this is an upgrade.

One thing's for certain, I think the Golden Age cap looks great on dynamic poses.
Unfortunately, I need a version that is great with heroic pose cause my marvel shelf is all heroic poses.

The mouth is OK, but they should have given him the same eyes as the Avengers version if they wanted to go that route IMO.

Its definitely the docile eyes that are throwing it off. I'd really like to see this sculpt with the helmet on

Sometimes I think they do the open mouth thing just to show off how well they do teeth.

I like this expression way better than TFA version as that one looked too calm. I think for CA he should have a more serious expression for battle poses. 2 heads would have worked well for this figure.
