For those who have this in hand, is his outfit that bulky compared to some of the pics I've seen.

No but it is a bit bulky. It really is hard to judge fairly because a lot of people believe the avengers cap wasn't buff enough, then we get this guy and it seems they went a little overboard on the bulk...Regardless I think it looks good

Thanks.....I haven't seen the movie so I had a feeling his outfit wouldn't look like that.

To be honest I think there is a slim chance for a conversion, but strange things do happen :dunno

I have had my Avengers Mark VI BD promo on waitlist for over year. That thing is never going to convert. Not sure why SS doesn't just cancel it.

Got him on Friday and had my reservations when I first took him out. HS bad, uniform looked simple, not many accessories, fewer than TFA, I felt disappointed since I like Cap and want to have the whole Cap line.
But after "playing" with the figure for a while and posing him, not a bad figure, grown to like it. HS actually better than TFA. TFA looks more like from a cartoon, this looks more like Evans, but like others say the eyes are the problem and the open mouth. The joints are tight, uniform seems more durable than TFA, probably because more compact, nothing loose. The bulkiness isn't that bad. And if you remember in the Avengers, Cap wasn't big anyway, tight uniform and Evans wasn't beefed up like in Winter Soldier. GA outfit has more padding and Evans bulked more.
I think the die-cast shield makes this too. Makes it more upscale. I like it and hope future shields are metal.

send them email, be sure to include your extreme desire for the figure, all your hopes and dreams of getting one and maybe.... just maybe they will send you one...........or just cancel it :lol

Exactly. Even after seeing Age of Ultron costume, this is my favorite look so far.
I just love the combination of superhero look with the retro WW2 look.
This also seems more like a refined costume of TFA.

I was so excited to get this figure that I almost took a vacation when I received my tracking date, lol.
But unlike other unboxing experience, you kinda get underwhelmed at first, cause right of the bat, you start to see the flaws first.
Initial impression is that he is a little bulky.
But I think HT sacrificed appearance with the ability to be able to pose him in more dynamic range.

And the thing is once you have him futzed and posed, the bulkiness seems to disappear.
Also, the headsculpt really starts growing on you.
Its also nice to really see him looking massive, cause the TFA is on the small side. And the freaking metal shield ROCKS!!!

I am really loving this figure the more I look at it. :love

It really is an awesome figure. :hi5::yess:

Got mine today. HS looks doofier in hand than pics. Pants wont button it is being held by velcro and covered by the belt. Anyone have this problem? Dont know if it was worth the $300 I paid but was a necessary fig to complete the WS line.

In your pic the HS does look "doofy". Guess a case of inconsistency, others have looked ok. I don't have the belt problem. And no it deosn't look like a $300 figure. But it does look like a $210 figure. Which is cheap for a HT figure. Then again this figure probably does command a much higher collector value.

I think its safe to say that Hot Toys hasn't 100% nailed Evans sculpt just yet, hoping that the STRIKE suit is the best to date. That being said the Golden Age can be worked with the right pose and angle

Just opened up my Cap and I must say it's just one of those Hot Toys that looks much better in hand. Can't say I don't retreat getting this bad boy. Now I'm excited to get Stealth Suit Cap and Civilan Steve Rodgers.

Just received my two custom metal cap shields today look good for a custom job and quite cheap. Think they need a semi gloss spray mind. Will post some pics later on.
