Got mine today. Definitely needs to be modded somehow, though I'm not sure yet which mods I'll do.

Most basic is simply changing the head. Or, you could try taking out some of the padding and shortening the legs and dremeling down the weird traps. Or, you could do a body swap. Or some combination of things.

His shoulders (in this uniform) looked pretty well padded in the movie... looks fine to me.

You know, not saying I wont eventually mod the shoulders...but for now, I'm actually ok with the shoulders also.
As long as you have him on a decent non standing pose, its actually not bad.
He is really growing on me.

The only mod I've done so far is kinda like what I did with my Bane and stretch the the pants so that it would be a little loose.
I think one of the things that makes the shoulder look bad is having the pants too tight so he looks like he is wearing skinny jeans.
I think with the pants a little looser, it makes things look proportional.
Oh, I'm also starting to really like the headsculpt.

Ironically the over-padding is probably more screen accurate. Pulling out the padding is a deviation lots of us simply prefer in spite of this fact.

Just simply grabbing sections of the pants and pulling it away from the legs to make it looser. The pants actually stretches well, I think cause of the black piping.
On Bane, I had to do this and stuff cotton also to make it looser, but I didnt have to on Cap.
His pants retained the stretch.

So, I stretched it so its kinda close to the proto.

Yeah.
I just pulled different sections of the pants away from the legs to loosen it, and it stayed loose.
The pants are very tight though, so it wasnt like it was very easy to stretch.
But I just kept pinching areas till I can see it getting looser.

I just kept using the pictures of the proto as reference.
As you can see from this other pic of the proto, there is some looseness there...unlike how it looks when you get it straight out of the box where its just too tight.

I am just watching a copy of the blu ray. I never paid attention before but when Cap goes into the museum, there's a quote from president Ellis on the board that says "Welcome back, Cap: President Matthew Ellis"
