I've waited over a year for my perfect joker to come together. And since I'm only stealing parts from this release I can wait a little longer easily.

Why do they even bother with "expected" release dates. At this rate I'm starting to think my V1 Joker and both of my BR Jokers is all I need. Losing interest FAST.

with me its a bittersweet deal, on one side I'm like I WANT THIS FIGURE NOW! on the other side I think to myself, "with more time to work on it will they make the figure even better?" so yea thats just my two cents

Why do they even bother with "expected" release dates.

Without any proof, who can say, but if the delays are because of tweaks based on fan feedback, then the expected dates are made based on turning out the figure depicted in the photos. When people flood them with corrections to make and they choose to listen, those dates then become variable. Regardless of fan input, HT's always working on reinventing things too. With John Connor they started to use a new headsculpt material and there were paint issues with it and had to be corrected.

There's 2 choices with Hot Toys, settle for no innovations and take the figure exactly as it's shown from them and get it on time, or let figures be improved and let HT keep pushing the technology for making these figures and accept delays.

If Joker comes out in September, that only puts him 2 months past his original release date, not too bad considering he's the first figure with PERS and it is critical that technology comes out working right.

Thank God for the delay. I just spent so much filling the holes in my MOTU collection that I couldn't afford this anytime soon.

Damn straight, i can wait a few more weeks, it's DX and expensive, i want it as spot on as it can be, going to burn me if i look at it on the shelf and can say 'that needs work'. But then again, even with my SmlStds painted BRjoker and BillyB shirt set soon, and even possibly the undercoat repaint, that could still use some work too, it never ends

Sorry, just to clarify abit: Regarding to the John conner sculpt, it IS because of fan input that they need to change the paint. The figure was out in hk for a week and it looks so damned and pretty far from standard HT stuff that fans FLOODED them with emails in Hong Kong ( good for other foreigners who have never touched/seen the 1st version "oily" head) . Again I am not criticizing them but just want to set things straight that this happened is not because of their constant need to improve, but more or so an important commercial decision to win back some confidence from the fans. (Which is of course, a good and wise move on HT's part --> although should've done abit earlier so the Two Face and Godfather sculpt will not be wasted)
