That's WAY too bright for the TDK coat imo.

Yeah that's kinda disappointing. Thankfully HT got the fit right though. You can really see in the comparison shots how crappy the final tailoring was for both the v.1 coat collars.

but 'too bright' is better than having a 'too dark' coat, i mean, you can always put that kinda 'weathering' effect on the coat to make it look not that bright.
don't you think?

Ya I honestly dont care what color the inner jacket I like the look of it in the movie but the purpley color is ok too

Not really. You can add the weathering effects but overall you can't really tone down that bright, vivid purple. Or maybe you could!? iunno.

I agree too dark is terrible too though.

The thing is.. the coat needs to be bright enough to still look good in bright light and dark enough to not look black in dark light. Like the real coat. In the movie it lightens/darkens depending on the lighting but it's always purple. The v.1 coat looked good in really bright light but like crap in dark lighting imo. If the coat is really bright and vivid like that '89 Batman Joker figure in bright light I think it would be purple overkill.

The colour of the coat is fine..bunch of sallys going on about the purple in the coat lol!..its way better then the last one, material used,tailoring,weathering etc..You want to complain about inaccuracies..go to the Star Wars thread..there are lots of them with certain releases.

The coat looks so mush better than the old one! I think the purple looks fine. In some pictures of the movie it looks muted and some it looks brighter.

Not necessarily, yes it won't get this figure fixed, but it can influence the future. HT recognized fan dissatisfaction with v1 Joker and TDK Batman and worked on improvements, even if not getting it fully right. If you want to see HT catch these things, they have to know it bothers us when they don't.

The biggest distraction IMO is the black eye makeup..why is it shiney and not more matte looking like the BR head?.

With all the complaints and suggestions after the v.1 for HT to miss so many things on the Deluxe version shows there's only so much talk they're willing to listen to and only so much they're willing to do.
