Too bad too as I would have loved to see an HT Scarecrow and Gordon. But Two-Face I think showed them there wasn't enough interest in secondary Batman characters.

What really stops them with Gordon is the challenge of Oldman's likeness.

As for Scarecrow, I'm sure they figure if someone as key to the plot of TDK as Dent didn't do well, a small role like Scarecrow would be the same or maybe worse.

for scarecrow, could they say...remedy it by making a severely less amount then what they expected for two-face and/or Joker. oh i wish i wish

I feel like I've read this discussion (about any further HT TDK line releases) a million times before. I'm not trying to dismay here, it's just feels like echoes of wishful thinking.

I think they should just close the pipeline until the 3rd Batman movie. Maybe then we could get a legacy line for the film villains...that aren't Joker.

I hope for a Two-Face DX,unlikely,but a man can dream.I wouldn't mind a Gordon either,but again,that's unlikely as Gary Oldman is trapped in action figure limbo.At any rate,miracles have been known to occur throughout history,so who knows what HT may acquire in the next year or so.

Do you think it'd be possible to put PERS in the BR head.

Someone with enough sculpting/cutting skills can probably pull it off, but it's not going to be easy.

You have to cut away the hair and either add sculpt or be really goo with your cuts so you can make the hair go back as seemlessly as the DX head, you have to hollow the face and cut out the eyes a certain ammount to fit the gear.

It's also possible that where the PERS eyes line up may not match with the BR head when you try to put it in either, if the DX eyes are more open the iris may line up fine for those but not the BR.

To me, you'd be better off repainting the DX head to look like the BR than to try throwing the PERS into the BR head.

Like MaulFan said, probably no to PERS i.e. taking the HT mechanism out and just putting that into another head (BR Joker or any other head not designed for it) but you COULD put moveable eyes into the BR Joker head. A dude who posted on here gave the Takara Batman moveable eyes. It would be a big project but it's possible.

Unfortunately, I think there's a certain minimum it takes to make it worth even making, and it's possible even Two-Face was done that way. HT is not against doing second production runs so my guess is they don't even think a minimum would sell and if you feel that way, there's no motive to make it.

I hear mixed things, one that he doesn't really grant it, the other that something tied to Harry Potter has exclusive rights to his likeness. It seems like it's more than just a situation like with Schwarzenegger and the Dutch figure. HT knows a figure like Gordon won't sell without a likeness, it's not like Billy or Kane where the rest of the package is neat and worth having on the shelf enough to ignore the likeness, Gordon would just be a guy in a suit with a generic head, there's nothing special or unique about his costume and gear unless they did the SWAT look.

I'm really shocked that they haven't skirted that issue like they have with many other likeness' by making a Gordon likeness and putting it on one of their original swat figures. It would take care of the likeness issue and even give you something from a scene in the film for outfit.

Reading the past few pages has caused me to chime in with my own two cents......you're all wrong, everyone's wrong...myself included, which also means that actually you're all right? And so am i....which also means you're all again....wrong! Glad we cleared that mess up. Anyway, dx joker, having brought both the two jokers before v1 and bank robber, i was a little reticent to part with more of my hard earned cash for this guy, which is essentially a figure i've already kinda got, i think i'd left off pre-ordering till i saw him for a couple of reasons... First being how good the cop joker came out, and it would appear that i'm one of the only ones who thinks he looks fine as is, hat and all (let flaming commence) also to see how the p.e.r.s turned out (fantastic it would seem) also i'm a glutton for cool packaging, and i'd have brought this purely based on the box, dunno if anyone can tell me if the box is purple felt? Whatever it is the whole package looks amazing. So onto studiosunny on ebay and now he's shipping his way over to the uk into my greedy hands. Now i have to say in closing, if you don't like something, or there's something niggling you about a figure, it's simple....don't buy it, then you won't have wasted your money, and the company will realise (if it's a major problem) that maybe they were wrong and sort the problem out for next time. Anyway i love him, and look forward to getting him in the mail.

The problem is people (apparently) want an "Official" figure from HT as opposed to a custom. Because you can get a great custom Gordon sculpt+glasses right now. Plenty of people on the board have made custom Gordon figures with that. But like I said, people still want something official with the quality that HT brings.

So even if HT did a Military figure with a knock-off likeness people would still ask for an official figure.
