I thought Heath Ledger's Joker was funny as hell in TDK.

Yeah. I'd even go as far as saying that he's funnier than he is scary. The best part of his portrayal is his funny side that makes me grin every time.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST STEAL FROM US AND WALK AWAY?!?"

"Um, yeah?"

I found a picture of the back of the playing cards, looks like they are all the same design as the one from Batman Begins. So they aren't 100% screen accurate but defiantly good enough for display.

Yeah. Just how fast and innocent Joker answers. :lol:lol:lol

The pencil trick scene: For some reason I always get the impression he almosts says "Magic" inbetween " Ta-daa! It's..." and "it's gone." And the whole scene with Two-Face especially when Joker says "Hi". Just the look on his face like "Oh My Bad" is hilarious to me. And when he talks about being a dog chasing a car. The scene when he leaves Two-Face in the Hospital how he uses hand soap to wash his already and STILL filthy hands. The hospital explosion scene and just the visual of him in that nurse outfit walking like a kid in the park while he's destroying a building and trying to kill people.

Joker is defintely more comical than serious in TDK imo. Joker is a clown. Not an assclown. :D

it's ok. i have these scenes memorized too:D

Agreed with everything Devil pointed out, but my favorite/funniest scene was when the cop says, "And you killed six of my friends." and he mouths, "Six?!"...just the look on his face kills me every time.

anyone ever notice that when he talks about his scars the first time, he turns his eyes to the corners like as if he's making it up, thinking about what to say next, where as he doesn't do that the second time, leaving me to believe the second to be true, especially since he tells he did it to himself. Which ofcourse we all know he did.

besides, in the prequel story of the killing joker, joker also becomes joker after losing his wife if I'm not mistaking.

I rule.

We don't know that for sure. He seemed fascinated with Rachel so maybe that was all the inspiration he needed to make up a story. Who knows. Pity we didn't get to hear the story he was going to tell Batman.

lol I'm pretty much convinced he cut himself up, also, it would explain his obsession with "ripping off mob dealers" since his wife according to his second story got into debts and got cut herself.. Just my thoughts, ofcourse, he could have also just made it all up..

I like to think he just keeps making up stories. Lies. I like the mystery that we will never really know what the truth is behind the scars.

Yeah, I think he tells a different story to everyone... its just one of those mysteries.

Hell he could very well be a supernatural loki that just appeared on the sidewalk out of thin air to cause mayhem on Gotham. He did say he was just an agent of chaos.

I liked that too, I find not knowing the true story adds to his dimentia, maybe he's so screwed up, he doesn't even really know the full story.

Yeah, if he was given the scars then he's simply vengeful... if they were self-inflicted then he's a masochist. I don't want to 'label' him like that, I don't want a simple answer 'why he is'. The sick possibilities are too much fun.
