Oh i totally agree with you now. This was my first and last ebay pre-order. I've always done the same as you in the past, with no problems; But he's being a real ^^^^ about this one. He currently has listings up as in stock now, but says he can't ship mine until next week.

That's the way it works though. The sellers charge a little premium to people who want the new releases immediately. Would be unfair to them if the seller shipped out your pre-order, (for less), at the same time.

Supposedly he's on a Slim in that shot.

I thought the clothes looked a little loose.....too loose for my liking. Keep him on the narrow he was designed and tailored for imho. Even a few mm makes a huge difference

I got a notice that my 'good's had shipped' from goodshipped, but i don't know if that was my DX, or my narrowbody that i bought. Didn't say. Could be my DX because i got another seperate email that my narrow had shipped a day later (today). Oh well, guess i'll just wait and be pleasantly suprised either way.

It's the TT Narrow (TTM08), not the slim (TTM09)

No, I think the user that posted those photos swapped the figures onto the Slim. The DX comes with the narrow but it seems they wanted to put him on the slim.

That's bizarre I have read on few accounts on HK/chinese blogs that DX uses slim TT. Only time they mention narrow was using narrow for the cop joker....

That's why I just don't understand why people buy ebay pre orders BIN or auctions.

Heres a tip:Only use those Ebayers who have a photo of the item on their listings.Thats their OWN photo-Not the Hot Toys official photographs.And some of you seem to pick a Ebay dealer out of thin air and use them-again,do'nt.Do a little bit of reading on these boards,research-it s a treasure trove of valuable information here!!You ll soon get to know the good guys and the ones to avoid.Pre-orders are ABSOLUTELY fine,you ve just got to know who youre dealing with.

Pre-orders may have paid "less," but they took a bigger risk and trusted the seller a long time ago - in many cases (as on Ebay pre-orders), they could've been scammed out of their money with no legal recourse. Seems to me that faith should be rewarded - both with the slightly lower price and with the honesty of shipping as soon as it's in stock.

Pre-order doesn't mean "Ship it to me once everyone else is satisfied and you've made as much as possible." Pre-order means "In exchange for my money now and the guarantee that I'll buy this from you and not someone else, you'll ship it to me as soon as it's out."

I'm not sure why people are putting it onto the slim, I find that body pretty tiny and only having certain characters it's useful for, Joker not being one of them.

Last line, true, but technically, it's not 'out yet' The main shipments aren't coming out until 3-4 weeks. Until then, they just get a few from the release batch, which imho they SHOULD start sending them out to the preorders, but instead just list them as BIN on ebay to make more money. Although i usually buy them like that and can't complain

Wait, you mean to tell me it's not first come first served? So say I was the VERY FIRST person to pre-order and the seller I bought from JUST got their shipment in. They wouldn't send it to me until the next batch and just put their current stock up with BIN prices that other people will obtain first?

I think that's a repaint of the DX head? I prefer the look of the Hot Toys paint job - all these repaints just keep coming out the same it's getting a bit repetitive

Agreed. I think the repaint is nice, but I enjoy the clean look of the factory paint. The BRJ head captures the interrogation Joker well, the DX the mob meeting.

MaulFan, I may ask you of a favour one day for a school project to help me with a certain effect. I am rotoscoping live people into alien backgrounds, and then using flash to animate some of the scenes as a Studio 1 project. Are you good in Illustrator? Or are you more comfortable with Photoshop?
