There is nothing screwy about that and it has always been common practice for HT. The first run of the product has always been for the Toy Hunter store and their local dealers. Any leftover from that will be distributed to their international dealers. If the first run sold out, they will just have to wait for the next run.

It makes perfect sense to satisfy your home market first. Imagine what would happen to the local dealers if HK collectors start ordering from other international dealers because they had to wait a few extra weeks for their stock? There will then be a bunch of local dealers with unsold HT stock cause everyone else got theirs from international dealers.

HK being HT home market means HT has an obligation to protect the home market.

My local HT dealer here won't be getting their stock until sometimes middle to end of this month. This has happened frequently this year because demand for HT product has really skyrocketed. Case in point, we did not get out Tumbler stock until like two months later. We did not get Godfather like one month later. We did not get John Conner like two weeks later.

However we did get the Spirit like a few days after it was released.

As to how I know all this, I am a regular at the local HT dealer here after all. I 'hear' things.

Sad part but possibly (as I just don't know how many) unavoidable fact will be that if there weren't the eBay sellers to begin with maybe some of the stock would be allotted to international distributors already.

btw whats all the negatives about this joker? I looked at a lot of pictures from toy-world and found that it's a release worth owning. whats the downside guys fill me in?

Negatives? Hmmm...well, for starters, I don't have it yet. Yeah, that's all I can come up with.

As for clot_master, I haven't actually purchased from him before, but he's answered all my questions in a timely manner and they were all easy to comprehend.

Are you the guy who left his one negative feedback complaining about his English? Pretty stupid thing to pick on, dude.

He shipped my Joker out the next day, it made it to the U.S. in one day, and got here in a total of 5 days. He answered every question I had very quickly, and was completely on top of the shipping and tracking notifications. The guy is a top-notch seller.

Anyway, the Joker. Fan-bloody-tastic! But I only had 5 mins to look him over before work! I felt like taking a sickie, but I kinda need the $$$ to pay for him! Hopefully I can post some pics tonight; my net's not working (using iPhone at work atm), but it should be fixed today!

It's absolutely not going to happen - there's more chance of a Gordon or Scarecrow showing up first (and that's unlikely to happen!). Feel free to grab the BR Joker without worries.

Well my Joker looks great! Especially with the base lights on; mine are really bright! PERS works great & the hair piece is seamless. I am still yet to put together the cop fig; but I tried the hat on the cop head, it does sit very loosely - you can't really push the hat fully onto the head. But the paint application & tailoring on the costume is perfect! Oh, btw, the purple coat is definitely the right tone of purple. And I LOVE the box!!!!
