I would say that the video you see is actually the smoothest I've got it to move. I don't want to move the eyes too much as it may break however I is sturdy enough not not fall to bits as the pictures suggest. Like all 1:6 scale figures I'd still say be careful as it probably won't take too much abuse.
ps. you don't know how long it took me write this short message without using the words 'stick' 'stiff' and 'in your hands'
When I recieved the figure he was very cold...it was a cold day in England and probs cold on the parcel van. I attempted to move the joystick and could tell if I kept forcing it then it would break. I left it for a few hours to aclimatise to the room and the temperature and the movability improved.
However, t is a very delicate piece of kit. The stick only seems to rotate - about 180degress left and 180degrees right- any further and it feels like it will snap. It's not so much jerky when you move it, more stiff. It's like the stick dosen't want to turn. Only being able to rotate stick means you can't move the it up and down, making the eyes look up and down - to achieve this you have to rotate it the stick in a C shape a shape which the eyes follow - to make him look at the floor his eyes will rotate in a C motion - I found this weird - I thought the could just go up and down. Maybe I got a delicate headsculpt I don't know but I'm scared to muck around with it too much. I found an eye posistion which I like and have left it like that!
just got mine from goodshipped. the figure is immense, i cant stop staring at it, havent put all the little things like grenades or badge for police officer on yet, cant find my dark knight dvd. anyone who ordered this from goodshipped with an extra true type, he puts the police clothiing on the body and bubble wraps the extra pieces, but took me a while to figure this out lol.
But.. for some reason my inner coat is missing a button.. but I don't really mind, can't fix it cause I cant sew anyway..
sigh... the wait...
I'm not sure it's screen accurrate, I've got 2 v1 sport coats, both with 3 buttons, I have a number of shots of the costume and Ledger with 3 buttons on the sport coat.
Someone over at ToyWorld has already experienced breakage with the PERS. At least it lets US see how the system works.
**NOTE: The head is from this repaint**
why the medicom ones?
no, it's two BR repaints, the "normal" BR sculpt going for the mob scene, whereas the smiling sculpt is totally revolutionairy, going for the interrogation look on that one!
here's the sculpting of it to let you know what I mean, credit to Mollins for doing it:
Also, DX batman is on order to be put in front of both Jokers, in the middle!
