If he looks good in my pics, believe me he looks BETTER in person.
Now it might be another 3 weeks still
What? Thought it was just moved to early November at Toys2 which is like 1-2 weeks.

Any word on whether the DCD release is still the same?
looks more like 2 weeks+ still, I am telling you...... time is standing still waiting for this!
Well I went in Thursday or Friday and asked again and he goes like yeah its gonna be another 2-3 weeks so I had to buy something else to help me recover

what'd you get then?
It was ether IM2 M1, M2 or interactive R2D2 so I ended up getting the R2D2 and a new outfit to cloth my Marcus Wright. I think it was suppose to be an outfit with a custom head of what I believe was Jason Statham
For me, it's about customer service and product protection, and not losing 10% for cancellation. I ordered from Toys2 the day it went up because I know if I have problems with the figure they'll get it resolved for me. The price of these figures and the history of breakages I've had myself and heard from others, I'm not buying from anywhere I don't myself know I can count on to cover me, and I don't trust dealing with eBay sellers for stuff like this. I only buy things on eBay that can't be found elsewhere or I buy knowing it could come as crap, I don't trust the way that's all set up to deal with important orders that I can place elsewhere.
I hear ya these things are too delicate and pricey to take any chances! I went with Clot_master on Ebay because I've seen so many good reports about him here so I'm happy enough, although I have no experience of problems so I don't know what kind of support I would have in that instance. Realistically I suppose Ebay is always a bit more risky, but I'm terrible at waiting!
If I hadn't had issues in the past, particularly with HT, I might be impatient enough right now to take a chance, but for the ammount of money it'd cost, plus the 10% cancellation fee and not knowing my coverage if there's a problem worries me.
So far, I've had 3 HT figures with wrist pegs that broke right out of the box the first time I went to move the hand, I never dealt with one because it was Rocky and you didn't need the peg to keep his boxing glove on anyway, but the other 2 were Rambo 3 and Dark Knight Batman, both coming from Toys2 and both times Toys2 just asked me for photos of the damaged and did all the leg work with HT to get replacements and shipped them to me with no charge, can't beat that. Same quality with Sideshow, but they don't carry Dark Knight figures.

I've got well over 100 1/6 figures and I can count the number of significant issues I've encountered on two hands, not even that much, so it's rare, but, it's not impossible which is why I'm particular with this stuff, especially where Joker is the first figure to incorporate a new technology, I wasn't running any risks if my figure came with PERS issues.
I get nearly everything of ebay (well I don't really have a lot of 1:6 figures and have bought 2 or 3 from stores) I still try to order from stores. However, in UK there aren't that many stores or at least good ones who sell 1:6 figures. onesitxhbruce is the only one that specializes but I have never tried. I would love the customer service of a trusted store it would make me preorder and wait for it to come to the U.K but I don't know of any. I have to take the chances of ebay where most (except John Connor) have arrived fine and when you can get the figure faster and usually cheaper it's too tempting to buy straight when it comes out in Hong Kong.
If I didn't have the luxury of legitimate stores that I can count on CS to cover me, I'd go whatever route I had to, even eBay, to snag stuff.
