However many some pics have him holding it right side up, which is where some confusion comes from.

Yeah, I would have to go right side up like the promo shots. Would bug the heck out of me upside-down! :panic:

Does anyone know if there is a particular placement of the grenades in Joker's jacket? And what to do with the safety pins? I haven't futzed with them yet, because I keep thinking they should be arranged in a specific way.

If I remember correctly the instruction manual under the stand has placement instructions for pins and grenades. (Pliers or tweezers are a must in my opinion for the pins.) If you want to be a real stickler though pop in ye ole Dark Knight dvd / blu-ray for reference.

I better check my box for the instructions. I never noticde that it had those placement diagrams. Good thing I didn't through it away, like I do all the rest of my 1/6 boxes.

quick question. I just moved into a new place and the only room I have room for my hot toys display has no air conditioning. Does anyone know if the temperature can ____ them up? It's been like 100 degrees in new york.

Gah! Those boxes - especially the Hot Toys boxes - are works of art! Really fantastic, so I don't know why anyone would throw them away. Get a bunch of them together and they make a nice display, too!

I'm no expert, but I can tell you that I've been through one - and am going through a second - full summer of displaying some of these figures with no AC, and I haven't noticed any ill effects. Where I live, we get some pretty extreme temperatures (in both directions). I can't imagine a reason the indoor temperature would hurt these figures.

Remember that it might be 100 degrees outside, but your room isn't in the sunlight. Throw in an air flow (be it an open window or a fan, which you'd probably like for your own comfort anyway), and the temperature in your room's probably a bit less.

Just make sure the sun's not beating down on your figures from the window - that's the only thing that I could imagine would hurt your figures (especially the rubber ones, like Batman).

As long as they're not getting direct sunlight and temps are not shifting from hot to cold wildly, I think they'll be fine.

thanks alot for the quick responses. I've got a whole shelf of hot toys dark knight stuff and an entire collection of 6 inch batman rogues...it's my pride and joy and I couldn't deal with such a great loss.
