How common is the PERS breaking? I see a lot of cross-eyed Joker pics, is it like 50% breaking? This, and the price, are the only thing holding me back.

I own two and I never managed to get derpy PERS eyes. Then again, I only touched and played with my PERS once.

Looks like Ledger played with his PERS more than once.

I bought my DX used, so I have no idea how much it was messed with, I only touched it 2 or 3 times. ____ty luck I guess

Thanks guys I decided not to buy the DX01 and wait for 2.0. I didn't know the PERS problem was so persistent.

You'll be waiting a long time, I doubt Joker 2.0 will be coming any time soon. I'd imagine HT will focus almost completely on TDKR 1/6 & 1/4, Batman Returns & maybe even Batman Arkham City before they revisit this figure

Yeah, it'll probably end up being a 10 year anniversary reissue or something.

I played with the PERS on mine once and never touched it again. Pretty much like what I did with the DX-02 too.

I think my PERS is about to crack as well.. They are really hard to move, and they move they kind of jump one bit at a time, and not a smooth motion. And also there is the *crack* every time I move them. So I've chosen one position and will leave them like that.

My DX02 is about to break as well I think. The donät sound like the Joker's does, and they move in a smooth motion, but when I make the eyes look sideways (especially to the left) the right eye moves more than the left so he looks all retarded!!

The PERS is definitely not a perfect system. I've owned 4 PERS heads and none broke. But I noticed with all of them it was never a smooth motion. I am super careful when moving them but still scared ____less. I like the glass eyes and the idea of PERS but hate the execution so far.
