Meh. I've only seen the suspenders on the DX01 the 2 or 3 times I've stripped him down. Otherwise they are never seen

The socks on the other hand are indeed teh suck, and will often be seen depending on the pose.

But he has socks here...

out of all my figures and pre-orders this is looking like it will be the best figure in my collection, i just hope HT can live up to the prototypes level

What??? Socks and suspenders that teh suck???

WTF Hot Toys... why don't you listen to your fans?

We will vote with our money. Epic fail. Order Cancelled. I'm telling all my friends to cancel as well.

Hot Toys is the worst company in the world. I could care less about the soft sculpts, and generic paint jobs, but you gotta draw the line somewhere.

Well I thought the suspenders on the DX01 were cool. They're not visible when you display the figure, but I definitely was impressed that the attention to detail went so far as to include the suspenders.

There's no reason to exclude them from the 2.0 figure - it would have to be a deliberate exclusion, to take out something that WAS accurate and already present. Which would be disappointing and mind-boggling, because there's no conceivably good reason why you would go out of your way to remove them from the outfit.

Oh there is. Joker 3.0. Now the joke's on you!

I just don't understand how they made the socks so inaccurate, so many times. Enterbay's 1/4 did a reasonable, yet inaccurate, attempt. HT should have upped their game for it.

can you actually see in the movie that he has suspenders????? I can't remember that...
During the interrogation even they're barely visible. You can see them in screen caps
I dun give a **** bout suspenders or socks. :lecture
While normally we're on the same wavelength about figures, I do feel the socks and suspenders are a detail that shouldn't be missed/overlooked. Like haytil said, sure they're not visible but it's a nice detail to be like "oh hey look, they actually add the suspenders" like it was for the DX01

:goodpost:

No offense towards Kato, but you'd think a tailor of his caliber would be able to include suspenders. Maybe there weren't enough reference shots for him to make them accurate or maybe there was an agreement in that thread to not include suspenders, but it surprises me that none were made for his suit set and would surprise me again if Ht decide to not include them here

Indeed. Ill echo what Haytil said about the suspenders, HT included them once before, I cant see any reason to exclude them this time. As for Socks, Yeah I can understand why people want them to be exact, especially since everything else on the suit is screen accurate, but since My two DX11's will be displayed in a way that really wont show off either one of those, Its not a huge deal to me.

But who knows, Maybe HT will surprise us with correct socks this time. :lol

Lets hope so!

They surprised us with a new (better :monkey3) DX10 sculpt afterall

I'm not too fussed about them myself but I do feel that, 3rd time out for the Clown suit - everything should be right. Don't correct some stuff only to get other stuff wrong that you previously got right. Thats just annoying in principle.
