It ain't you fault man, we are here to help out one another. I hope you don't take it the wrong way:peace

Use a tweezer to tie it, might help.

Though I'm not sure what could be done with the pants as I have never owned that Joker pants before. Perhaps others could chime in and help out. :)

No it's cool, I just wanted to show that the Kato suit can fit fine on the Joker 2.0 body because I don't like the idea of sanding down arms or buying another figure so I can swap the arms. So I was trying to say that it isn't really necessary if you got the Joker 2.0 body because it is quite a good fit, despite the short pants :gah:

Nevertheless, I appreciate your advice, I will take that into consideration.

Sell it and buy DX 2.0.

Already buying that but the tailoring is worse on that unless you can futz like Rory. :wink1:

I am getting the dam VIP one because I already paid a deposit to the seller for one a few months ago, so I have just spent an extra $100 to get it early. :gah:

Never preordering from ebay again :banghead

I think the tailoring is almost the same. Just that being squashed and compressed in that foam box makes it requires ironing and futzing before looking sharp and good again like the original hand made Kato ones. IMO.

You could be right, I guess I will know for sure when I get it. :rolleyes2

I am pretty sure the coat is the same though.

I think you are missing something here

The body that comes with the 2.0 joker is actually the equivalent to the custom Kato reccomended body (advanced body with sanded biceps or bicep part swapped with the narrow TT). HT tailored that body as per Kato's recommendation.

So in other words they are the same.

No they are not, I have compared them, plus the clothing fits tighter on the body (not the arms) on the advanced TT one,. I asked Kato would his handmade outfit fit the Joker 2.0 he said he didn't know. Also the pants are tighter and are longer, so you can not see his socks on the TT advanced one.

Hmm.... That's an interesting insight there. I've been trying to bid and acquire a few of those joker dx 2.0 body for some of my figures because I assumed they are tailored to the ideal body per Kato's request. But I haven't won any, since they go for mad $ on eBay. :monkey2

Could you maybe take some pics for comparison?

Not to get off topic, but...
is it just me, or does the first Hot Toys Joker look like Jim Carrey?

How much are the 2.0 Joker bodies going for now? I bought mine for $85.

Well the thing that sucks with Kato's clothing is that you don't want to keep taking off the clothes time and time again because it is very easy to lose buttons as they are not glued on, they are just ironed on and I do not want to risk losing another button by taking off the suit off (I have lost 3 so far) :banghead

However, looking at these pics directly below you can see that the vest is quite tight on the Advanced TT. It is quite hard to show the difference in photos but as soon as I changed the clothes I noticed that the vest was a lot more loose on the Joker 2.0 body.

So which pants is longer?

Kato handmade pants are longer on the Advanced TT body and tighter, you should be able to see this in the pic below on the TT body.

And which body are you using now? I think I'm kinda lost now:panic::lol

No need to panic, I am using the Joker 2.0 body because it has narrow shoulders and I can use the Joker socks and shoes but the Kato suit is not tailored as well but decent for the Joker 2.0 body.

The body go for 50 to 70 now I think, depending on what time the auction ended.

I think I kinda get what you mean. Now I'll just have to wait till SS start shipping the joker 2.0 before I can compare the body with my advanced/narrow shoulder custom body.

I think $50-70 is quite a fair price for the Joker 2.0 body considering the advanced TT and narrow shoulder bodies are around that price anyway. I guess I paid more because I did not bid I just hit buy it now. :thud:

What are your plans for the advanced/narrow shoulder custom body? You know the /foot pegs/ shoes won't go on it don't you?

Once i can get my hands on the 2.0 joker body (providing that they fit the kato wayne clothes perfectly) I'll pry them by the knee joint and replace em with the regular feet, so I can use feet and shoes with pegs like normal figures. And for the spare knee part, I'm planning to get a slim body and replace the knee part for my SS bob a fett, since they are using the same feet system. Should be a clean and reversible mod should I find the need to move em back.

For the love of all things that is holy, Sideshow send me a processing notice already!

 I kind of don't get why you are using Kato Wayne clothes for the Joker 2.0 body? I thought that type of body would not suit Bale as he has broad shoulders.

Kato recommend the same custom body specification (advanced with narrow/shaved biceps) for his figures ( Joker, Wayne, Mad men ) with the exception of the walkin dead, which he uses modified Bruce lee body.

Wow I never knew that, Void doesn't mention what body the Wayne suit is tailored for on the Wayne suit thread. Sounds like an old choice to me, but I am sure Shortround used that body for his and his looks perfect.
