So I got this guy yesterday. Man... what an unbelievable figure.

Smiling head is brilliant. Better than the norm head, even.

Tailoring is very nice.

Accessories are loaded to the brim.

Beautiful boxing.

Easily the best figure I've ever got off-shelf. They really make you feel you got your money's worth. This is how EVERY HT purchase should be. Very well done, Hot Toys.

My only downside is I thought the shoes would have been a teeny bit more noticeable that they are fabric-ey.

The coat is so much nicer in-hand. I don't know why so many pics make it look like a fuzzy bath mat! Mine is very smooth.

The coat feels smooth but it is fuzzy, when people take pictures with the flash on it shows up details that can not normally be seen in normal light.

Yeah, that coat really doesn't photograph all that well for most.

It's a shame too, because it doesn't look like a bathrobe at all in-hand and the figure itself is undeniably epic.:dunno

Mine will be here on Monday! :yess:

I'm trying to decide if I should just put the coat and head on my V.1 Joker, or should I turn my V.1 into the interrogation Joker?

I am converting my V1 Joker into a interrogation Joker.

I am keeping the V1 stock expect I am upgrading the vest, tie and shoes with DX 11 parts. Then I use the laughing head and ungloved hands I got with my DX 11.

Cheep and cheerful:lecture

*Edit* Here is a super quick crappy pic of my V1 without any clothing upgrades.

It already works pretty well before upgrades :)

Hey guys I thought I would post the DX11 with the paint removed. I think this sculpt has as much potential as the Enterbay one and thus, there is definitely likeness to Ledger. This is not my sculpt, so these are the only pics I have. So after seeing these pics I now think the sculpt is quite good, I wonder if this is enough to convince the other people who don't like this sculpt, that this is a great sculpt. :rock

Interesting indeed!

Congrats!
I hope you're right, I'm one of those who joined the wait list 2 weeks ago for the EX and am checking emails daily awaiting the conversion email.

I really hope your wait list converts.

IMO EX is the only way to go, even if your not interested the EX items like me. The EX will be more valuable in the long term but the main reason I bought the EX was because I felt without the EX items it looks weird opening the Joker box. Like something is missing sorta thing. With Superman and other Hot Toys EXs or VIPs it didn't matter so much ,but having nothing there where there should be a big square box with EX items, just feels like u are missing parts IMO. :dunno

I know right. I'd love someone to take this sculpt and do a full repaint and give it a mix of real hair while keeping some of the sculpted hair. Basically pull as much likeness out of it as possible. Well, more than that is already there.

Isnt that was Zach is doing? Or wait he fixed up the jaw to and got rid of PERS so that is even better. :yess:

So this is my first PERS fig, but I can't seem to get the here's to move. The post is supposed to make the eyes move, right. My post doesn't seem to do anything.

Hmmmm. You are doing nothing wrong from the sounds of it.

I know that the PERS on my DX11 are pretty dam stiff, to the point where it made me nervous initially, but they do move.

Perhaps you just have a very stiff PERS system going on there.
I would say be very careful in trying to move the stick, but you may have a jacked-up PERS.

Sometimes a little bit of glue will get into the inner workings and freeze it up a bit, but I'd just advise extreme caution in trying to move it. You obviously don't want it to break.

Sometimes a little wiggle is all you need to do to loosen it up, but in some rare occasions, the PERS could be entirely frozen and you'll need a replacement head.

Honestly, I wish you best of luck.

Try breathing on it (exhaling heat) or a quick blow dry, it helps loosen it up! Good luck I'm sure it'll be ok!

My Ex came today :)

Little rip in the box but not as bad as my Batman.

With rips on the box would you guys tape it so it does not get worse or just leave it?

Thanks guys, a little heat worked. Moving the eyes the opposite way of the head turning like what often occurred during the movie really makes this guy come alive.

The packaging box or the shipper? A lot of collectors will let damage to the shipper slide as long as the "real" box is OK.

How about a picture?

Scored this guy today at my local comic shop for 25% off! I'm glad I finally got it. I was on the fence about it but couldn't pass it up at that price!
