Hot Toys - MMS DX 11 - TDK: The Joker 2.0 Collectible Figure specs and pics

My DX11 is arriving tomorrow. This Monday is dragging more than most normally do.

I contacted HT about a few damaged parts but they said it's been released over a year and can't do anything. This was never released last year! Jeez.

It was released in Hong Kong first, so maybe that's why they said last year.

I guess.

Released in HK in Jan i believe lol 6 month ago so they can't use that excuse.

I am going to leave my Joker in this pose for a bit. It is kinda a "waiting and passing the time" in jail pose. I have the Nicholson Joker as well so I did not want to repeat wearing a purple jacket with my DX11.

It is nice, almost musuem-ish, but I need more detolfs to achieve that look...I'm down to a 2 figs per shelf ratio and enjoying that for the time being.

I too have two figures per shelf side by side. If they are pairing characters it looks great like batman and bane, luke and vader, etc.

Haven't got any ideas set just yet, but I still have the Joker half to DX01 so I may go and make use of it.

I love the clean look of single figures on each shelf of the detolfs. Looks good.

I find it awesome that the fewer figures one has, displayed impressively, trumps cluttered accumulation every time in my eyes.

These figures we collect are beautiful.
I say, play up that fact!

The only figures I display two per shelf are my Mattel Ghostbusters. Bad picture below..




I have another shelf that display my Sideshow Plo Koon, Kit Fisto and Ki Adi Mundi but they are on the chopping block as I am considering to sell them off to create room for a future Hot toy purchase.

Personally I am not a big fan of multiple figures on a shelf. They look crowed and make it appear affordable (like NECA) which they are not. Ofcourse space permitted for us all. Yes I like to have one 1/6 per shelf. And like someone mentioned "Museum Like". As the Batman Returns figures start to come along I will need to purchase another Detolf and continue the theme.

As I sell of my Nolan collection, this figure seems to be the only one I am having a hard time of deciding to let go. It just looks so good and is so well made.

I don't like crowded shelves either but I also don't like a single figure per shelf either unless it's a dio or something. Im also not big of detolfs either. I don't like the glass looks. I like what Maglor does with his by putting some black fabric down on each self.

my figures are pretty much in a dog pile when they aren't sitting or standing around in one of my dioramas.

eventually i will put them in a cabinet all pretty, but yeah, not a big fan of deltofs and i will likely only long-term display my main nolan bats characters (with one joker), the odin family (in their asgaard gear) and christopher reeve superman.

Yeah, I've been trying to come up with a solution for the "flooring" on my detolfs as well...I really just need a concrete effect for 3 of the 4 shelves in my detolf dedicated to dios: TDK Armory, Bat Signal, and Interrogation room...not sure of which floor makes sense for Harvey's podium.

I bought a loose DX01 back in march to use for the laughing sculpt. I just got impatient and bought another DX11 a week before My other was due in lol. Having it displayed on the DX01 i felt no need for my second dx11, besides call me crazy i like the DX01 outfit for interrogation and kinda prefer it over the DX11.
