The way they do it is that when you buy Bruce Wayne, he comes with 1/6 blankets, rugs and pillows and Talia comes with the fire place and back drop. Strip em both and put em together than BAM!

You have all the elements to recreate that scene where his small, yet powerful friend...Rises.

what do you guys reckon is the height of the stand combined with the stone steps?

I'm planning on getting a 17" high display case specially for this guy...but am afraid if there's gonna be too much of a gap between the highest point of the figure (his ears) and the ceiling of the display case...

I'd say 17" would be perfect, I've got a 17"er for my dx08 joker and there's easily a 4" to 5" gap to the top, so I stuck my dx09 in there instead.

I'd say 17" would be perfect, I've got a 17"er for my dx08 joker and there's easily a 4" to 5" gap to the top, so I stuck my dx09 in there instead.

yea based on the display cases I have, a 2" gap would be like the "sweet spot"...but the dx09 barely made it into my 14" box (his ears almost touching the ceiling) so I knew that I'll definitely need a bigger case...cos base on my estimate those steps alone could account for about 2" of additional height requirements.

So epic! So well done! And I loved bane!! Although, now I have to agree with everyone in the Hot Toys Bane thread - he needs to be bigger :-/...

Going to see it again tonight in the VIP section. Today, at 4:40 pm is the "actual" premiere!! cant wait !!!!

So many people on this thread and on facebook say they hate the cowl. I mean to me it looks fine, I am more concerned that this figure will once again be fat and bulky like the previous ones, going by the promotional pictures. There is no excuse for this, the figure is in a material costume with armor parts whereas the previous releases it was all rubber which made him look fat and bulky. I do not understand how a horrible company like Medicom can nail the suit whereas Hot Toys continues to bulk him up too much.
