He's a definite improvement over the googly-eyed pencil-necked DX02 Dark Knight, but I'm not feeling either of the heads or any of the interchangeable mouths. the cowl head and eyes just don't look like him to me, and the Bale sculpt looks way too young (eyes look off too). Seems a little light on accessories as well for what will most surely be a $250 figure. Lastly, don't his legs seem awfully long? I feel like the bottom of his feet should be about where his ankles are now.

This is definitely a step up from the DX02 and a definite buy for me.

maybe even TWO for me.

Best Bale sculpt I have ever seen by any company or custom.

But back on topic, I like this figure. My first Bale Batman.

There going to be battle damaged version? Will battle damaged version be lot more expensive? Eitherway I love this figure. Good job HOT TOYS!!

I have no inside knowledge, but I'd bet there will be a BD version. Probably about the same price. I doubt they fully developed this brand new suit concept for one figure. They'll go the way of Iron Man.

HT has a way of exploiting the hell out of the Nolan Batman license. Given this is Nolan's last go-round, they'll drain every dollar they can out of it. I'd bet on at least two versions of Bane, and a Battle Damaged Batman. One Catwoman (they don't tend to repeat chick figures). Maybe a Blake, Gordon ...

... Scarecrow and/or Ras Al Ghul.

Maybe even a Camo Tumbler. It'll be easier to figure the odds once we've seen the movie.

I wonder would the sonar head be compatible with this. That was a cool feature, might regret not having it anymore.

Um, uhh..The body looks great but what the ____ happened the the head. I like the cowl shape but the eyes look ____ed like the DX02. Damn........

Cowl shape is fine

What's wrong is the lines across the forehead and on the sides are too exaggerated

Need to be softer

Production version might be better I guess

I think it's because, personally, it looks like a tweaked v1. The lines on the cowl should be softer and the mouth pieces...I just don't know. The angry one looks like a mad grandpa mouth. Wish it had a neutral. The texture definitely has to go. Needs to be a lot smoother.
Not whining btw, just nitpicking.
It's just the cowl Im having a problem with.
Everything else is a huge upgrade, I thought the difference in the body would be minimal but the dx looks very inferior now. That bale sculpt is unbelievable. Almost looks real.
I still think the medicom cowl is better. I just wish the cowl would look like this.

I'd buy five of these if I could, I love it. One for the Batpod, one for the Bat, one to display with the Bale head, one to display the smirk, and the last to display with the teeth vs Bane. I'm not rich though, so one Batman it is. lol.

The Bruce Wayne head-sculpt is just ugly - it looks nothing like Bale. Still getting this figure though!

Really want this, but can't justify picking one up seeing as I have V1.
