why you think Nolan used a picture of the Maggie instead a picture of Katie on TDKR??

Because Maggie was the last person to play the character.

I heard Nolan is going to CGI Maggie into Batman Begins for The Dark Knight Trilogy: Special Editions.

why? they look the same.. or the 1/4 looks even worst!!... shoulders are too wide, the cowl is still off.. and so on..

P.s. I doubt that even the original prop suit used by Bale can last forever, no matter how much crazy money it'll cost.

Well, forever is a long time. The question is how long to expect it to survive.

The Bale suit, like any movie prop, is made to survive filming, which lasts a few months at most. Even so the studio purchases numerous versions knowing that some suits won't even last that long. That's a completely different expectation than a collectable that is clearly meant to be a display piece. When such items don't last more than a year or two, the purchasers have every right to be pissed.

Agreed. The 1/6 looks better to me over all. The 1/4 does have a more movie accurate Bruce Wayne HS, though. The 1/6 one looks more like it's taken from The Dark Knight.

I wouldn't say that. The 1/4 figure is going to be popular with people who are already collecting in that scale. But, the 1/6 figure is definitely the most obvious choice, for those who are interested in displaying a figure that's the correct size, with the rest of their Hot Toys Nolan Batman collection.

In addition, it's not likely that Hot Toys will release other characters in 1/4 scale such as: Bane, Catwoman, and Commissioner Gordon. It's most likely the case, that they'll just release a 1/4 Ledger Joker to go with their 1/4 Batman figure, and leave it at that.

The only things that I like about the 1/4 figure are the additional accessories. It's too bad that the DX12 doesn't come with the Sonar head, empty cowl, and the back-pack for the cape (or whatever it's called).

I look at this way buy what you love and can afford ...I'd rather have a bat and couple cars then just 2 big figures..I'ts like this you can have the old xbox and 20 to 30 games or just the brand new system with just 1 game ...you decide ???

The 1/4 figure just seems like a bigger version of its 1/6 counterpart - that's about it. There doesn't seem to be any significant improvements to the 1/4 figure, other than inclusion of additional accessories.

yep rather put 450 down on a tumbler or t.v before a 1/4 bat..both look pretty sweet but love 1/6 and take up less room and will admire from a far..

1/4 looks nice, but meeh... looks very similar to the 1/6 scale.
maybe the "ultimate Batman DX 22" will come with all the accesories of the 1/4 scale one

Anyone notice that many times throughout begins, Katie Holmes' nips are always popping out. Specifically the scene where Crane gasses her, and Batman is about to pick her up.
