I can't either. It's hard to choose which is better between the Bale and Hiddleston sculpt.

I got it for cheap and I like it. An updated figure would be cool though.

Me too, same as you, $60. At that price, it was worth it.

Man. This guy looks ____ing fantastic. Never been happier that I missed out on DX02. Depending on the Batpod use in TDKR I may have to buy 2 to have one permanently displayed on there. Unless DX02 prices drop like crazy I guess.

I understand peoples inclination to nitpick and over analyze but to me as a Bat-fanatic this look like hands down the best mass-produced Batman ever.

Love the stand and the guns but a couple more accessories would have better justified what will likely be $250. At least we got an awesome Bale sculpt. Have to figure out how to display it now. I guess move my TF ex Bruce head onto a ninja body?

P.S. Those pics make me really wish I could pull off getting the Bat. But I don't even have room for the Tumbler.

Wow, not a good sculpt in the lot. The cowl sculpts suck and the Wayne sculpt is predictable mediocre.

and I think 1 or 2 ppl in the EB 1/4 bats thread

I like them both EB 1/4 Bale and HT Bale

I don't want to start a discussion with anyone, but you can find negative posts in this thread as well as the other Batman threads. Everyone's entitled to have an opinion, so, I'm not gonna point my finger at anyone, sorry. =)

Let me just preface this by saying I respect the skills of the custom sculptor community as much as the next guy, and if I were to try to do something like this, it would probably end up looking like the nazi dudes at the end of Raiders when they open the Ark.

BUT... the pic on the right really makes me wanna invade Iraq and Afghanistan. I would call him, the Decider...

Rather than just say something is wrong with the cowl, could somebody actually tell me what it is that is wrong with it?

I commented on it much earlier today, but here's what I think is odd about it.

There's also an issue with the brow line, and also the features being too sharply defined, like all the previous HT cowls.

Still, it's the best one from them. Almost on par with the medi cowl.

Cowl looks fantastic to me. My only complaint is that giving it a texture looks a little weird.




...and again, that neck is so perfect. Now maybe people will stop saying that the DX02 didn't have a skinny-ass giraffe neck.

I feel this came out of no where! I wasn't expecting it yet. Everything looks great, I just don't like how the eyes look in the cowl. Kind dumb looking, the eyes are too deep inside. I was surprised it was a DX too, I was expecting a regular release but I guess it makes sense, this could potentially be the last Batman, so they will try to charge as much as they can for it. What do you guys think, is this the last Nolan franchise Batman by Hot Toys?
