maybe the fact that this is my first Bale Batman i'm be getting(missed out on all the others) I'm overlooking all the negativity over the figure, I think it's a solid 9/10 in terms of Hot Toys quality, it people want to call it a reissue of the DX02 that's fine i guess, and the price is right around what i paid for my Keaton Batman

If this is your first, then you should get this one from all three of the incarnations. Even I admit the DX12 is the most accurate of the three releases. However like you said, its basically DX02 v.2.0 for those who have the previous releases.

Yeah this will be my first Bats as well so I'm pretty stoked despite some of the things. But I'm really surprised to see people have this in hand already and it's on eBay going for crazy prices. Gotta love eBay.

On a side note, does anybody think prices for the DX02 will drop any more? My brother has the DX12 on PO and I don't have any Nolan Batman.
I was just wondering if you guys think he will drop to about $240 or lower. I don't know what it is, I just always loved that figure, inaccuracies and all.

Yeah it's beyond ridiculous and I couldn't see paying that much for this. Would rather buy another Tumbler with the money lol

I noticed that SSC website has this slated now for November. Wonder why they are pushing this up so much from it's original release date.

If anything the prices would start to rise me thinks. There's still accessories the DX2 has the DX12 doesn't, specifically the sonar head and backpack. And yes the body on the DX2 is rubber, but there's still no guarantees what will happen to the DX12 after prolonged posing. I didn't like OMG's description of how the parts seem hot pressed down with glue.

More like Hot Toys is trying to speed up their run. They probably figured this Batman would be easiest to crap out and make room for their other releases

Was actually me before taking a look at today's pictures. Sucks too because despite my DX2 being a part of the initial shipment, my Batman's abs are leak free

And the nose is too wide on eyes line area !!

Now I think Adam's Bruce Wayne is better..

It only looks that way because of the flash photography. The face is lacking depth in areas when they take cheap-*** photos like this.

after looking over everyones pics of this so far as bad as the PERS and face masks can look posed correctly this figure looks ****ing badass! Especially the grumpy face mask and PERS looking forward or down. Still extremely excited for this and DX11.

After looking at this picture the head looks much better on the left. I think that is the Medix? The boots and fat head are what kill me on the HT. Now Im really torn whether I want to pay that kind of money or not? I dont have a Batman but dont really care that much for DC either. HELP me

There is no Medix here. The one on the left is the DX02. And if this is your first Hot Toys Batman purchase, go for the DX12. Out of the three, it is the best

The frowning mouth was toned down since the proto. I like it much better now. The cowl looks weird when viewed straight on and I'm not sold on the mouth pieces, but I love the suit and the BW sculpt. The pers doesn't look bad to me, but it suffers the same issues that the dx09 had when positioned far to the right or left: the shadow from the cowl makes the pers look more off than it really is.

Overall, I think there's much more good than bad to this figure and some photos really bring out its strengths. I've never owned any previous versions of this suit and I'm happy to be getting this one. Would be happier I'd the price was more like $225 though.

With the help of god, yes. And hopefully it will satisfy everyone, if that's possible.
In all honesty though, there is not a lot they have left to include. An accurate cowl with great face plates is pretty much all that I have left to see Hot Toys accomplish for a TDK/TDKR Batman.
