The only thing bothering me is the base , now this Bats is gunna stand alot taller than every other figure . Dumb idea HT , might not even fit in a Detolf

Yeah, damn you Hot Toys for giving us such a cool, unique base that doesn't fit in with our other "lame" run of the mill bases and won't fit in our detolfs.

Yeah, it will be a good one to wait out... Like all the DXs now.

$6 bucks less, BUT they have a cancelation charge.

I secured one at BBTS just in case, but its likely I will cancel and try to pick this up for less on eBay after a month or so.

With split shipments and all, it like I'll get it 6 weeks later at best anyway.

No offense to anyone who thinks otherwise, but this is the Adam sculpt everyone's been talking about? People actually think it's better than last year's HT Bale or this year's attempt by Enterbay? It's not a bad custom, but both companies did far superior jobs IMHO. Blurry pics or not, you can tell this year's new material is leagues ahead. Facial structure isn't sharp enough and the angles aren't where they should be. HT and Enterbay, on the other hand... very well-defined features.

I couldn't do any better, don't get me wrong. Just wanted to share that observation since comparisons to Adam's sculpt have been made time and time again on multiple threads and I've just now seen it.

I agree. Don't see all the hype I personally think both HT's and especially EB's blow Adam's out the water

It's crazy how nowadays that doesn't "seem too bad"...
I remember getting the AVP Predators for like $120.00 ea back in the day, and that was crazy expensive...
I was really expecting this guy to be closer to $200.00... I mean... he doesn't come with much...
But I have to get this!!!

They just say 'an exclusive item'. That does not necessarily mean it is a dx12 exclusive. And their shipping alone is £18!

I suppose. Well there arent exactly that many UK retailers of Hot Toys, besides I looked at their other pricings and it seems that their price for the figure + delivery adds up to the normal prices of the same figure from other websites.

Yeah, but you know he'll be floating around $200 for several months right after he's released.

Hell, you can still pick up Superman for around $150 if you're patient. Classic Predator, Mark II unleashed, First Avenger... they're all going for around $150-$180. Nicholson Joker and Keaton Bats can also be had for around $200-$210 now, Indy and Sparrow dropped significantly too.

I still can't believe Hot Toys got me to buy the Joker or Batman. I'm in disbelief at just how amazing the figures look, and how excellent HT did on them. The Bale sculpt really sells this figure though, please don't lose any quality in production.

My only nit picks are the shoulder pads and knee pads.

Are the knee pads really that low? They seem awfully close to the rim of his boot when standing in the straight position
