well, got my DX12 in today and I love it! unfortunately, I'm of the camp that got a pretty banged up box was a bit of a let down PERS looks pretty good though as well as everything else.

anyone know if I can display the figure already even though I'm awaiting a box replacement? I would go to live chat with SS but I don't see the icon to do so.

PS: Great pics rory! like Mags said, nice to see someone finally push the belt down into it's proper place

No, I hadn't shortened it when I took those. Here's a crappy phone photo of the fig after the neck mod. It makes a subtle but improved difference. Whether or not it's worth it though, depends on the look one is going for I guess. In the films and photo stills, there are variations on how long/short the neck is. So this fig's neck isn't exactly too long, it's just that I prefer a shorter look. I think it makes him look a little more aggressive.

All I did was pop the neck in half, and removed the plunger socket.

Great pics Rory, some of the best I have seen of the DX12.

Glad to hear you mention the thighs, if I was to pick one problem apart from the eyes (which I am gonna try and mod) it's the huge thighs. They are weird big, and taper off to quickly which makes the ankles look too thin. But again great poses.

Regarding the modded Medi head on the DX12 body, sorry it just doesn't look great to me. I'm a huge fan of some of the Medix I have seen on here, especially Elvis', but this doesn't do it for me personally, the head looks to squared and odd on that body IMO.

Absolutely spectacular.

About the neck: does it sit firmly in place like it did before the mod, or is there some play in it now?

Yeah, it sits just as firm. You could probably hold it upside down and it wouldn't fall out. It kind of wedges in there snuggly. It turns and tips and twists the same as before with just a little less side-to-side tipping due to it's sitting in there a little deeper. All in all it articulates nearly the same.

Just noticed you cut the buckles off the gloves.


Personally, I think the moded gloves would look better with the DX12 gauntlets.

I'm pretty sure Elvis said he was gonna rework the head shape, as it does look a bit off there.

Yes already stated before that i still have some work to do on the head
