Its safe to say time and time again that the chinese factory where all these high end products are made has no QUALITY CONTROL department. We just have to live with it. The factory owners don't care and seems HT might be too cheap to hire someone to go there and inspect every single one that goes in the box.
The pic with the jacked up ears solidifies my theory.

They said they work closely with their factory or whatever when questioned how they manage to mass produce paint apps like these.

my box came like that too... smh

.... My box looked exactly the same thing. Thankfully the figure was fine. This was the first box that I actually have problems...

That's five and counting with jacked up boxes. Did you guys ask for replacements?

I did. they told me that once the second batch comes in I will get a new box

This incident can be avoided if they take the extra effort and double box the outer ht shipping box. Because they Want to save a few bucks, they ended up spending more for sending the replacement box.

I don't think it's SSC's fault in this case at least not with mine. The outer shipping box looked fine. There was no way the damage that mine had was caused by UPS. I think either customs had their way with these or they were like that when they were packed in HK

They will replace it. SSCs CS is top-notch

yes they're great! SSC has always come through for me. getting my replacement when they get the next batch

I don't get why UK retailers have to wait so long for their stock? None of them seem to be getting these in before January, WTF?

They only shipped last week, and they go surface, taking 10 weeks shore to shore.
The SS consignment is airmailed early to meet the SS preorders as they are the official HT US distributor / partner (for want if a better wird). The UK has no similar outlet.
SS get their stuff even before we do, here in Shanghai.

I ordered mine on 10/31, when it was already backordered. My status changed to "shipping soon" today and I was even billed for the packout option.

Usually that only happens 72 hours before they ship them out. So I believe SSC might have gotten their second batch Excited to see it in hand!

Twice so far Bale's headsculpt fell from the joint I'm not sure how hard most are pushing the head in but it's annoying

I got mine in yesterday and I freakin love it. The Bale sculpt is really nice in hand when you are holding it at a normal distance from your face.

I'm sure this is some where here but what do you have to do to get the Bale head on the DX02 body?

Post hurricane update: Both the electric company and UPS delivered as I finally got power back at my place and my DX 12 arrived over the weekend!

Not much time to play or take pictures yet but my early reaction is very positive: This figure is head and shoulders better than the DX02 straight out of the box...speaking of, no box damage thankfully and the figure is in tact. (However one of the canisters came off the belt as I was putting that on I was able to reattach it however with some glue. The belt is actually pretty stunning - drastically better than any past HT Bat belt) The only mod I've made is installing Lance's velvet cape. The body is flexible and offers good posability. It's really nice with the stand as the steps offer some dynamic posing options. The PERS actually look fine in person and are definitely an improvement over the DX02. The boots are a bit narrow in the ankles but again, not near as bad in person. Same could be said for the bat symbol - I don't see any issues once it's on the shelf and away from all those colored lines . Also, the Bale sculpt is brilliant.

I sold my DX02 to get this guy and have no regrets.

Finally put him into my Bats detolf display. He has grown on me a bit more since I fixed his neck. He looks nice and mean with joker. Now if only something could be done about his thighs.
