You're welcome. I ordered this because of the price. I also picked up a Medicom version from eBay. So I can bash the two. =)
(You know how much I LOVED the DX neck. lol Or I may just make a casting of the Medi head and keep the Medi version stock).

I got this yesterday..it's "ok". I have the DX02 so maybe that took some of the wow away. I don't care much for the head at all. (too small,wrong shape, wonky eyes, faceplates..see no Bale in the cowl, it's weak) The rest of the figure is pretty awesome though.

I wasn't impressed with the cowl either. Bale is there though, you just have to mod it a little. Cheaper to mod than buy a Medi head if you find one.

I honestly don't believe the mouth pieces are very salvageable without heavy mods to the cowl... even then, the mouth pieces aren't helping. Angry mouth is kind of okay... but a custom mouth piece is pretty mandatory imo.

You mean you haven't liked it until now?

Turning point was Short Round's pics, and the appreciation is going up.

To be frank, Jokes and Bats' pictures were the only example we had for a long time, and every picture he's posted makes the head look enormous.

Might just be that he's using the Medi neck which is skinnier and that's making the head look bobble headed...

Thankfully for me I still cant see what the problem is with the DX12 cowl and subsequently what is so amazing about the Medicom one

Only problem I have with the DX12 HS is the mouth plates are all fairly crap and the PERS but I can live with how I have him posed atm even if it means never changing it

I just received mine and I'm happy with it. The detail is fantastic. There is just one problem I have, the box has a pretty significant damage to it. The flap with the magnets on it has a huge tear on on the bottom corner about 3 inches. It was wrapped in the bag and shipped that way. Every time I open it it tears even more.

Now I'm fairly new to this and only have about 12-13 of these figures. This is the first time I encounter this. Maybe it has to do with the material of the ex box. Feels like sand paper. Has SSC ever been shown to replace the boxes? There is nothing wrong with the figure itself, but I do love to keep my packages intact.

Sorry for the rant and if the question is stupid.

take a picture, send to ssc, and ask for a replacement box. it may take a while, but they will get one for you.

this appears to have been a rampant issue with the dx12. i feel like am the only person i know who escaped this problem.

Got this from bbts today. Pretty impressed with it as I wasn't looking forward to it. Sold the dx02 because of fear of what might come of the rubber suit. Got to say this figure is pretty great, and after playing around with it for an hour, I really don't miss my DX02 which I tought I would.

Did you do the collector's upgrade for $2.00? I had my Cap A upped to that but I have yet to see if it is worth it, but then again its only 2 bucks. My luck I'll come home in April to a smashed box and a crooked star
