Re: Hot Toys MMS Iron Man Mark XXI-MIDAS
Yep, I'm totally new to this Hot Toys thing, but there's only one IM armor I want and it's the 1st red and gold version from the first movie. I don't see the point of going beyond that. They're really going to devalue the franchise with all these armors. It seems I remember when my son was little, the Batman franchise bombarded Wal-Mart with a ton of different of different Batmans. None of which had anything to do with the movie or comics. It was just to milk the collector's spirit of every penny they had. It's obvious that Iron man III was written with merch in mind with all the armors in the epic battle scene.
Wow, seriously? They're just making up suits now?
At the rate they're going, I have to imagine they're going to oversaturate the market with more Iron Man figures than the collector's can possibly afford or care to purchase - and as a result they'll be sitting on a stockpile of unsold merchandise. I can't imagine even the most rabid of Iron Man fans would want $9,000 worth of 1:6 scale Iron Men filing a room.
