For those who have received the figure, has anybody had any quality control issues? Was going to save it for my Nephew's birthday, which is after the 30 day return window.

Not many issues from what ive read, but id either inspect it or give it to him early, not worth the risk

Having a lot of fun taking pics of this fig. The gold is just so nice looking though I wish it had a nice clean armor.

Love the lighting effect and different shades of the paintjob, very dynamic!

The photography on this thing is beautiful! Nice job fellas! :clap

I just jumped on the waitlist for this piece. :lol This piece looks really, really nice. All of these pics are too tempting. I have the 2011 SDCC Exclusive that I'll probably sell in place of this, if I can get one in-hand.

It was in the end fight scene very briefly, like 1/100 of a second. :lol

Really? Oh, wow. I stand corrected. :lecture

I honestly didn't even think this was in movie. Thanks for the heads up. :rock Reading about it now. (Just edited my post too! :lol)

i am by no means an iron man fanatic, but i found the book 'Iron Man Manual' to be pretty good reference. It shows all the armors and yes the MIDAS is indeed an 'official' armor, so for those fans who does not like anything not 'official', it's not HT's problem that the Midas is a repaint of the Mk VII, unlike the Secret Project which is not an 'official' repaint per se. So for the haters..I guess hate the Hollywood producers or whoever did the mechanical designs for making the Midas a 'repaint' :)

I need to stick with Spider-Man stuff. :lol I'm out of the loop for Iron Man. Makes this piece that much cooler though that it was featured in the movie.

Has anyone gone through and done a high-res screen capture of all the different armors visible during that scene? It would be useful so people can stop complaining about buying armors that they claim weren't in the movie but technically (if only technically) are.

I went frame by frame of the entire final battle and it's *really* tough to tell what armours are what. Most just flit past camera really fast.
There is a scene with what appears to be Midas(A fast, yellowish armour) flying past a gantry and an Extremis dude jumps on it and they both go rocketing to the ground. It's early on in the battle.
I *could* be done by someone with a lot of time on their hands.
But it would take forever.

:lecture Let us never underestimate the exhaustive faculties of nerds :lol Someone with the time and the means will get it done.

I actually like thoses photo a lot. The absence of red really makes for a different collection. Thanks for sharing. Very cool. I still like that WM Milk Edition. Stands out in the bunch. :rock
