For those who have received the figure, has anybody had any quality control issues? Was going to save it for my Nephew's birthday, which is after the 30 day return window.

The right elbow joint on mine feels loose and it doesn't hold the forearm into 90 degrees like the left one, but that happens to my Battle damaged version as well, so I'm not sure if it a common issue.

The entire right arm fell off mine when I moved it an little so I can get at the switch, I had no problems with the left arm though.

Not really a QC issue. The arms pop out pretty easily so you can swap out the arms (regular MK VII) and do not break anything.

Hot Toys Mark XXI Midas

Have you turned a detolf sideways to be your Iron Man set up? Can you take a pic further back please?

I was thinking of doing similar and putting a 5th detolf on top of my currant four.

I think everything HT makes is overpriced but i like how this really stands out on the shelf.

I didn't think the Mark VII was over priced. That was spot on in value with all the extra's it came with. That was my first IM figure and couldn't be happier

Well that includes some of the people I've asked in Hong Kong and my friend told me some people are complaining about it in Toysdaily so I just assume it like the AMS Spidey shoulder problem. But I'm not trying to argue whether it common issue or not, I'm just trying to see if I have enough reason to ask Sideshow for a replacement. I've talked to Sideshow about the BD version and they send me a replacement but even the replacement suffers the same exact issues so I'm afraid it just going to be the same with Midas, since they both share the same exact design.

OT: after reading concerns with BD MKVII...

Caved in to evilBay's temptation, thus getting my BD MKVII next week. Hopefully he's in good form and shape! Otherwise, it's a double whammy for me. Getting hit with its non-friendly pricetag and all!

Good to know it scared me a bit when it happened, I tried to put the arm back on an couple times it kept falling off.

The loose elbows thing is annoying, I have it on 1 of my VII's but luckily not Midas.
