Is there any confirmation that SS will be offering this? No interest in picking it up in the secondary, but will definitely get if it's offered at retail. Good grief HT must be dancing all the way to the bank.

none. but we expect to see it as we did the other exclusives.

i know many people hate this version but after mark vii this one is my favorite cant wait to try to pre order it in sideshows

I have to be honest, and say that this figure looks great, and has been growing on me more and more each time I see it. I may just have to order one of these if SSC gets some to sell.

I know it's just a Mark7 repaint, but the multi tone golds look sweet.

I would have bashed HT for keep doing repaint. But just like others this gold tone has really grown on me a lot.

it's hilarious to see so many change their opinion about this. the same people bashing hot toys for too many iron man releases, repaints of the same figure and RDJ head sculpts are now 'buying it' or 'it's growing on me' or 'can't wait to order'.

they also said that this is the downfall of hot toys because they are ignoring the other licenses, yet they are supporting hot toys' marketing choice by buying a simple repaint.

i love it but it IS just a MVII with no fire engine red. nothing special except maybe the limited amount produced, which i'm guessing no more than 5000 worldwide. i WILL add it but no two faced declarations here. 'i really like the two toned gold'.

Exactly, this is the same thing with the prices and the reason they keep climbing, people ***** right out of the gate, then days or weeks later they settle and start trying to justify it to themselves "oh I'll just sell this or save this and then I can have it". eventually there will be a breaking point but we arent there yet

I buy figures based on the quality and look and if I am a fan of the franchise. I could give a **** if its just a repaint or not in the movie or is limited to 3000.
I passed several times on buying limited editions and or exclusive pieces for retail prices, because I had no interest, or they were just not unique enough. The Avengers IM Mark6 comes to mind. It was extremely limited, and now goes for 600-800 bucks, but was not unique enough from the original Mark6 for me. I also passed on Mark6 itself as I am not a fan of it and or the triangle shaped RT...( I know, Blasphamy!)

HT made this repaint of the Mark7 look very good by using different tones of gold. I don't think it would be as good if it was just a single tone, and i would probably not even consider it. I again could give a **** if it's super limited.

I also do not care how much HT milks this franchise, as long as they keep making pieces I like.
I may be a noob to this site, but I have been collecting HT's for a while.

I do not have a completionist syndrome and do not have all the IM Armors. My taste in collecting varies way too much for that.

I collect everything from Transformers, HT's, Autoart and BBR model cars, and lots of other high end stuff in between.
If it looks good, and you like it, and have the money, buy it

This should be less than $250 as it has way less accessories than the mk 7

What if the price is more than $250? I remembered someone from here did have the same sentiment as you on BD Mark VII, but in the end still caved in when it was released for PO

well as I said before the BD version has a detailed (unique) base and a new stark sculpt in the helmet, though less accessories than the reg. This one has no stark sculpt and therefore shouldn't cost more, and the base is gunna be pumped out with all the future figures so I cant see them justifying that cost. please understand that Im saying it should't not won't..

Yes I am getting and will probably pay $300 tops, anymore I and dont really care, Heartbreaker is my more sought after piece (and pretty comparative to this piece as it has the same format basically-no stark sculpt minimal accessories..)
