Midas goes for sale on that site tomorrow, 9:30am Japan time. it seems in half n hour windows. every hour they will release 200.
1000 in total, In store only

I've been buying HT from SS for 5 years and over 50 different figures and I have to say the release/ announcement of Midas has been odd and certainly out of the ordinary.

Especially since its in hand in some areas.

Considering the way he is being released....if HOT TOYS is smart...this figure is still in production...so they can keepo making more....not produced two months ago and then being released really slowly.

Doubt it, if that was the case they would of made more BD Mark VII but they didn't, what they have made they have probably made, its just a matter of slowly releasing them.

How do you know how many Mk 7 BD they made? He hasn't released yet.

I don't but I would assume that if they did make more they would probably be more pre orders for it, and from what I have seen there isn't any. I'm not saying there cant be but that is really HT's style. As for the midas only time will tell how many there really are but by the looks of it its gonna go fast and from what ive seen from HT usually only makes one big run. Again time will tell but just is just my .02

Fair enough. The more that figure's release gets pushed back the more I think the factory is cranking out more of them

Well, there haven't been too many figures recently released that are completely impossible to find at other retailers.

It seems stupid and really just bad business to make it so limited. How much money is left on the table when tons of people want one but they didn't make enough? Then scalpers just make a ton because of it and hot toys misses out. Seems dumb to me but what do I know.
