Hard to say, couple years is indeed a long time but we are for sure to know that Avengers 3 will happen and that may be in 2017-2018. So Judging by how some figures are more than 4 years old, its value is still going up.
Not sure what will happen when IM/Avengers is out of the movie production line, but as of now and probably the next 8-10 years, it's still a highly sought after piece

well, collectors will care, when they still need one of the pieces to complete his collection. Maybe you won't care.
But some of them will, people still looking for lot of old iron man series from hot toys, and prices are going up each day it passes.
i will come back next year to this thread just to remember what you said.

this figure NOT going on sale yet sure is mysterious. i've ordered a ton of stuff from SS and never saw anything like midas' ordering delays.

I agree. Of course Spooktacular being in OCTOBER, the ODD part was that Midas was a SUMMER exclusive.

great to see this figure plummet down in price. If I miss the PO, I'll just buy it for $400, which to me is reasonable.

But why is this STILL not ready for PO? It's way past summer exclusive and it's heading towards November now with no updates still.
I asked SS if they will have this in stock and they said they are not sure as they haven't received any information....

I guess anything is possible. But considering HT has made 8 figures from Iron Man 1, 9 figures from Iron Man 2, 3 Iron Man figures from the Avengers, and 12 figures from Iron man 3 ( including Midas ) , and all 31 of these have been sold through Sideshow with Midas not available yet, there'd be no reason think SS wouldn't have this available.
Maybe they sold too well in Asia, & SSC won't be getting stock?Shame if that's the case. Retail price or pass .....
