I'm really amazed at how this turned out. Also love the way they've made it an undersuit with the armour attached, like the dx12. Looks like we'll get some decent articulation. Can't wait for the pre-order. I'm unsure about ordering Jor-El,the likeness is pretty amazing but I need to be a little picky with money and if I have to choose between the two, its definitely Zod. This just looks stunning.

Still wish they'd include regular stands with these though as well as the big fancy ones. It's not like they'll come with much else.

Exactly. Fur cape.

It was feathered in the film. Not fur.

Shame this armour doesn't have that cape. Much more interesting.

If the armor isn't removable, if it's been mentioned I haven't read every page, a DX 01 treatment would be nice for this. A Shannon head with the black suit without a body included. Not sure why it's still funny seeing Zod in armor. He's Zod for $%*#@ sake.

A must buy regardless as it looks like a piece of work as is.

Shame this armour doesn't have that cape. Much more interesting.

Must have missed that. Did look like a fur cape to me, I saw it at the theaters 4 times..

I think the cape is good as it is. Wouldn't want it to be inaccurate. They could however do a Krypton Armor version instead.

Oh I did not mean hope they change it. Just I hoped he had that cape with this armour in the film as its more visually interesting to me.

Did Zod even have a cape for much of the movie? I only saw it the once so I'm sure others know a lot more than me, but I remember it caught fire when Superman flew him away from the farm and he threw it away. Was that the last we see of it? I'd have loved to see him still wearing it at the end with just the black undersuit.

He threw off the cape after the fire. They tore off his armour made from bones when he was on Krypton before being sent to the Phantom Zone then shrugged off the metal armour before learning how to fly.

Why? There's nothing wrong with it.

It looks as stiff as cardboard, i like my capes to flow over the contours of the figures back, this cape looks terrible.

Yeah that's what I thought, once he throws off the cape on fire he doesn't get it back no? I wonder if the cape will be removable on the figure then.

I just checked the book (where that concept art is from) and it didn't mention anything about the one used in the movie being a feathered or fur cape.. but I believe you are right. Because I remember something sticking out like feathers but I thought it was long hair.

You don't know me at all but I'm a psychologist in real life and had to reach out to ya. I hope you are on the mend and I'm so sorry about your bill Chin up.

Sorry guy-back on track now. I have high hopes for the face sculpt-they have nailed Russell and Henry thus far.

Thank you for kind wishes, all who have mentioned this. I am fine now, I was in for one night over a severe case of viral gastroenteritis. Which was no. fun. at. all. let me tell you. But I'm ok now.

Back on topic! I am actually surprised we have seen a prototype this early. I was thinking it would be another month or so. I cant wait to see the Shannon headsculpt.

Can anyone who is going to that con today ask the person in HT booth to remove the helmet for a bit to see what's underneath. He might have the head sculpted already.

That's most likely the HS, not an actual Helmet maybe it's not removable.

I bet he will come with a swappable HS of Zod's face.

Hope I'm wrong though, love removable helmets.
